While he can hold conversations with other people and has enough experience in conversing with others, Howard gets tired of people quickly. As he grew older, he had managed to get through each day with common interactions sprinkled in but there are times where he would just fall silent and feel the burning need to go back to his room. AMBITIOUS There's no doubt that Howard has goals and would do almost anything to attain said goals. This has caused quite a lot of conflict in his past. He would sacrifice his own health for the sake of attaining them. Once he's set his eyes on something, Howard won't stop until he can get it. There are no cutting corners for him, however, and he pushes himself to work harder for it. EFFICIENT Howard is a smart lad, his grades speak for himself, and he usually has plans for most of the things he does. Whether this is because he wants to avoid speaking with people or because he needs it to get a good grade, he often thinks hard about his next move. He's no stranger to spontaneity and he changes his plans accordingly to the wrench that has been thrown into them. He makes the most out of his days and he plans it down to the hour. [/SUP]

[/cell][cell]Physical Description
Often found with an unruly appearance unless he makes an effort, Howard doesn't make much of an effort in his outward appearance if he isn't meeting up with other people. His wardrobe consists of button up shirts or sweaters with jeans to match up with it. He stands at the smaller side with a height of 5'5 and doesn't like calling out attention to it and it's likely one of his bigger insecurities. He doesn't hold himself with any sort of confidence; with a terrible posture in both stsanding and sitting, he's often slouched and seems even smaller than he already is. Despite this, Howard does have a rather fit body - regularly keeping up with his own regiment in the gym. Most of his muscles are in his legs, having been part of the track team for a good part of his school life. Howard has a couple of old scars littering his legs and arms, mostly from falls and tumbles that he had taken during his track years. One noticeable scar, however, is a long gash on his left leg that he had gotten due to a freak accident that robbed him of his chance to see anything more than the local competitions.
Character Conceptualization
Born a second son and a first generation immigrant, Howard had to learn everything fast alongside with his older brother and younger sister. At a young age, they handled important documents and conversations - translating for their parents and for the other party. Howard had little plans outside of helping around the house to make sure everything was under control. The moment his older brother could work, he became scarce in their house and taking long hours to help support their family. He and his sister worked together to help around the house, though a lot of those expectations fell upon his little sister. This left him with a bit more time than he had expected. Howard had taken great interest in track during middle school and joined the team. His school wasn't anything big or had a particularly good team but Howard found himself enjoying it a lot. For the first time, he had found something he was passionate about. His parents found no need to be worried over it as long as his grades were good. He had made a couple of friends in the team but he didn't have the time to hang out with them enough. He wasn't sure if that was just an excuse or if it was the truth, once he looked back on it. After all, sometimes, his parents were lenient enough to let the siblings go out together - so surely, they could make an exception with at least one hangout. But Howard refrained from doing so, only keeping his interactions with friends at the school or at training. In highschool, he continued track and had even gotten into a couple of competitions. He had won some, lost others. He still has the medals to prove it, though those were overshadowed by his siblings' academic achievements. Nevertheless, Howard knew what he wanted to do - if he managed to garner enough fame, get the highest records, he could eventually get to run at a more national scale. When he wasn't studying or helping in the house, he was running. And finally, Howard got what he wanted. He was going to compete in a national competition for students. Two days before the competition, Howard took a rather hard fall, leaving his leg scarred and broken and him in the hospital. For a few months, Howard couldn't run. His leg was too bothersome and he couldn't even travel too far. He found more time to himself, once again, and he picked up another hobby to busy himself - drawing. He wasn't particularly skilled at it but he put his everything into it. Perhaps it was out of pity or it was because his brother saw budding talent, he had gifted Howard a drawing tablet. He had quickly improved and by the time he could run again, Howard found himself enjoying art a lot more. He didn't come back to the team but took the occasional run as a regular hobby. He began to take commissions and earn money for himself and his family. When he had expressed his plans to take an art course, his parents immediately shot it down. After all, there was no future in it. Howard, however, was adamant to take it and tensions ran high in his own household. Against his parents' wishes, he took the exam in UCLA and managed to get in with a scholarship. Howard took his savings and moved out of his own house and moved to a relatively cheap and shabby apartment, but he didn't mind. He took on commissions as well as a part-time job to help him through his years in school. After graduation, he never got into contact with his family and he continued as a freelance artist as well as a few small-time jobs here and there.
Other Information
Howard can usually be seen wearing his drawing glove and he typically carries his tablet around no matter where he goes, believing that there's always a chance to gain inspiration no matter the place. While Howard keeps his social circle relatively small, he does have a social media presence in art circles.
[/cell][/row]
