When they had returned, they're creator was laying on the ground. The golem tried giving their master the wine they had requested, but he wouldn't wake. The golem then resigned to at least move him to his bed before returning to their duties. But as they returned to the throne room, they noticed that some of the more valuable objects were missing, with tracks leading out into the snow. They followed the tracks for as long as they could, but ultimately became lost. Eventually, they came upon Lemmas where they were taken in and given a name, a new look, and a new purpose. Now armed with an official town badge, a shiny hand-bell, and a [i]very[/i] nice hat and scarf, they alert the good towns folk to the passing of time as well as any important announcements.
