Name: Nyssa Age: 19 Gender: Female Appearance: At 5’7, Nyssa is taller than the average female, despite her petite frame. The first thing people notice about Nyssa is how well endowed she appears. Sporting an endomorph frame, she has the perfect hourglass figure. The size of her breasts and hips though, are so big and accentuated, compared to her slim waist, it’s a bit obscene. As a result, she favours more loose fitting clothes and favours modest attire. Her skin is creamy,smooth, and very soft; with a glow just like pregnant women. This glow fades when she’s out of mana. In its place is a purple tint to her skin, revealing her nature as something mysterious. Nyssa’s pink hair is very long, reaching past her thighs. When her mana is low, it takes on a luminescent glow, akin to neon lights. Nyssa calls her hair colour Cosmic Pink, at least when her mana is depleted. When she’s got plenty of mana, her hair colour is classified as a Rose Blond/Rose Gold. The first of these is a natural defense, Nyssa’s pheromones are strong! She has a distinct natural scent, that reminds people of strawberries. This scent changes to various fruits, depending on what she eats. It is usually sweet. Unless she’s been exerting herself physically, in which case her scent gets a sweet musk. Her sweat is sweet ‘n salty but doesn’t stain her clothing. Nyssa pretends this is a marvel but it’s merely science manipulation on her part. If her mana were depleted and she was drenched in sweat, it would act as expected. Personality: Nyssa is a very eccentric woman who has difficulties expressing herself with others. This can be a problem of her own making, as she enjoys speaking in riddles. It doesn’t help that she can’t perceive the difference in intelligence between her and others. Given the way she articulates, at times to those who can’t keep up, she’s speaking in jargon. Other times, it is beautifully poetic but the person has no idea of the nuances given. The end result is seemingly random acts, chalked up as eccentricities. If blatantly asked to lower her vocabulary let’s say, she is capable of explaining something in an easier manner but she must be told first. Surprisingly, she can explain high level concepts in very simplistic or creative ways that get the point across. A handy skill for teaching or advising, when she’s conscious of the need to do so. Otherwise she’ll be lost in her own world, with her brain rapidly thinking through a flurry of subjects. Backstory: IRP? Powers: Supernatural Combat: Originally, this would have been enhanced combat due to the training received from her Father, as well as their Al-Maru genetics. By becoming Awakened, these are boosted to Supernatural Combat, where they fight toe-to-toe with the best. Of note, Nyssa is an Expert Strategist and Tactician, specializing in Assassinations, particularly of the very Supernatural beings that she can now fight equally with. Psychic Magic: This is an extension of her Music Magic, granted by the Nightingale’s Song. It allows her to use waves in order to transmit her mana and influence objects telekinetically. Often she would use this with knives, performing trick throws or barrages. It’s important to note that while she can mirror different psychic feats, this is strictly magic and is unaffected by blocking psionic energy. Wave Manipulation: Nyssa’s unique ability which stems from the Nightingale’s Song. The secret to how she controls so many aspects of her music magic, is that she controls the very sound waves that carry her notes. Typically she can emit sonic based attacks and manipulate vibrations. As an Awakened Nightingale, she now can utilize waves of different kinds Equipment: Katana, Wakizashi, Tanto, Kodachi, Nodachi. These various swords need not be carried on her person due to her special ability but are listed as the equipment she favours for combat and assassination respectively.
