Alan nearly droped the glass cage as he ran out the exit because of the lullaby but Pip swatted his trainer on the ankle, snapping him out of the lull of sleepiness. So they ran until they reached the road exiting the city but stopped to catch their breath in a nearby alleyway. Alan was keeled over panting while Pip peeked out the alleyway to see if they were being followed.

Once a second passed and no sign of the ringmaster or his pokémon could be spotted Pip went over to Alan and tapped the glass getting the Kabuto's attention, then gave it a friendly wave. Alan had set the cage down and sat on an old milk crate to catch his breath as Pip tried communicating with the Kabuto.

Pip tapped the glass and made a hitting motion indicating for the other pokémon to try to break the glass.
