No longer the thin, spindly man that he was, he stands at 6'0" with a proper build behind his bones. Doing a lot of the heavy lifting himself when he turned his Church into a sanctuary, it shows in the muscles of his arms that stand out in his Cassock.

His face shows his age, however, wrinkles forming along most of it. His hair has started to turn a nice shade of gray, blending in with the brown that still fights for dominance on his head. His beard has lost almost all of the brown by now, though. His hazel eyes sit weary on his face, easily giving away the exhaustion this situation will bring.
Personality
A kind and generous soul, Father McCarthy knew from a young age that his calling was to lead his people. Selfless as always, he didn't care who you were or what type of place you came from. If you were here, on this planet we all called home, you were worth something. He strove to lift people up, to help them fight their demons, and even to this day he stands by this legacy.

That isn't to say, though, that the man is without his own demons. The dream awoke a desire in him that fueled him, but it also hindered him. Often times, when the doubt was strong, he turned to liquor to ease the fear and pain. His stubbornness kept him going, though, and the selfish desire that whispered in the back of his skull. Survive, it said. Survive.
Biography
Richard McCarthy was born to a middle class Irish family that lived in the center of Chicago. His mother was a sweetheart of a secretary, while his father was a bastard of a drunk. Fitting in well with the Irish stereotype that formed around them, Richard went the opposite way of his father, wanting to be nothing like him. Opening himself up to God and the Catholic church, the boy devoted his life to his faith, using it to escape the abuse that his father dished out.

Religion opened so many doors for him. Becoming a Priest at the ripe age of Twenty-Eight, it wasn't long until the Father acquired his own Church in the inner-city of Chicago. Wedged between two buildings, it was a place where he took in the lost souls from around the city. Anyone that struggled, in any capacity of the word, he would help guide. Even if they weren't of the same faith, he believed that everyone deserved to be touched by God, and he did his very best to make this happen. Perhaps that was why he was given the ominous dream that he had.

That day changed everything. His doors remained opened, but his mind wandered far from the people he served. Services would be interrupted by loud noises echoing from the basement, or the walls to the left and right of the church. Large loans had been taken out in the Father's name, larger loans than he would ever hope to be able to repay. He was staking everything on a dream - a dream that continued to echo in his head night after night - but there wasn't a shred of doubt that it was fake. He was Noah, and it was his job to guide the people to their safety.
FC - Billy Mayhew / Color code - 69989E Other

This character is disposable.
