My dude is kinda a goof.  I'm thinking something like your guy is returning from an adventure or perhaps has grown bored due to a lack of adventures and heads to a pub.  My guy can be there bragging about his wrestling abilities and putting out an open challenge to anyone in the bar.

Let me know if that sounds reasonable.  We shouldn't need a judge I don't think but if you want one I'm open to whatever.
