I don't think commitment should be an issue so long as I have a solid goal in mind for whatever character I might try to go with in mind, and maybe even notes on their arc as well, though it might be next year when I take four CIS classes. Other than that I think I've gotten the spirit system figured out, as that was the most confusing part for me since I've only played Smash back when it had versions on the GameCube, and thus had to look up some of the more recent lore.
