[indent]It takes alot to be the single person propping up the entire schools GPA. But that is exactly what Jax does. At first in his earlier years, Jax hated this kind of pressure, now, however, he has grown into it. Growing up in a fairly stable household a single child Jax did fairly alright. His mother and father both worked low-end retail jobs and while time was hard, they did the best they could, even if it was not enough. From a young age, Jax spent his time reading books that his mother picked up at the charity shops. It was here where Jax picked up his love of knowledge. [/indent]

[indent]Middle school was where things started to turn for Jax. It was here where he began to become infatuated with authority. Or was it more a fear perhaps. Either way, Jax couldn’t stand letting people like his parents or his teachers down. He began to follow their orders to the letter, spending all of his time focusing on his school work and nothing else. He became the kind of person who would cry if he got shouted at, not because he was scared, but more because he was beating himself up for letting them down. All of this of course came at the expense of his social life. While he wasn't exactly bullied an awful lot, he did tend to attract alot of unwanted attention for his rigidness to sticking to rules and not wanting to disappoint people. [/indent]

[indent]Enter the teenage years. Things were now starting to get interesting. As he grew up he began to wonder about what motivated him to study as hard as he did. He eventually settled on not wanting to be like his parents and wanting to make a name for himself. He wanted the success to be able to retire early and still have money to give his parents the life they deserved too. He spent his grade school years buckling down, so when High School rocked around, he doubled down on his studies rather than reinventing himself. Growing up however has made him see the benefits of having a social life. As a result, he has become a more sociable person, just don't expect him to drop all of his studies to come and talk to you. Studies still come first and he has to work hard to maintain that perfect score and to eventually leave this hell hole a somebody. He is betting all-in on being more successful because of his studies than by being a popular guy or having lots of hobbies. Only one more year to go and then it's time to hit the big leagues.[/indent]
