As the year winds out, I was thinking about the roleplaying I've done this year, and how my writing has developed as a result. 

I think this year I wrote, and created some really nice characters. If there's anything I've grown stronger with this year, it's characterisation - even of minor NPC figures. I do feel like I've done far less roleplaying this year than I did the two before, lack of time and creative energy I think :< I bet a lot of us are in the same boat.

So how do you think you've improved this year? Do you have any examples?
