Roger is a Capybara, the largest rodent in the world. He towers over other rodents at 5’2’’, and weighing 118 lbs, which gives him a full round body like most Capybaras. Roger’s body is covered in reddish-brown fur, with webbed fingers, and dark brown eyes hidden under a pair of glasses. Roger wears many different colours of clothing, but most of them feature movie posters or stars.

Roger is a little bit awkward, but still a fun guy. He loves to talk, and go on and on topics that he finds interesting, sometimes to the point that it is a little much. Roger is a fierce friend, always trying to stand up for those he cares about. While he doesn’t usually show it, Roger is very worried about how good he is at things and how others feel about him. But he masks this anxiety with a jolly affect.

Roger was born to a large family of Capybaras from the New Birdsey Shore. Roger was the seventh of thirteen kids, always feeling like he was forgotten in the massive size of his family. It didn’t help that Roger was a lot different in personality and interests than his family. One such way he was different was that Roger hated the water, something unheard of in a Capybara. While his siblings would go to the beach to surf, Roger would remain home and watch movies. It was in these moments of solitude that Roger found his true interest in life, film. For many years Roger would invest all of his allowance into collecting movies. His family eventually became of his passion for film, so for one special Christmas they gave Roger a video camera so that he could make his own movies. This is still Roger’s favourite gift of all time.

Roger would spend a lot of his teenage years making home movies. But he quickly realized he was terrible at making films. It was around that time that Roger tried posting movie review videos online. After receiving a good response Roger decided that what he wanted to do with his life was talk about film. To that end he applied for the Cinema Studies program at Eukary University. When the letter of acceptance came in Roger’s family was overjoyed but also a little sad since Roger would be leaving the state. As the school year was about to begin, Roger’s parents drove him up to the campus and helped set him up in a dorm room. After having a tearful goodbye Roger turned toward the University, ready to begin the next stage of his life.
