Yeah, even the biggest MMO out there, WoW, isn't like that anymore. I haven't grinded "300 tigers" in a long time. Even with Blizzard's Classic or private servers, there's no reason to grind like that outside the few moments where old school bullshit RNG plays a factor because the internet isn't what it once was and the player skill level has gone up considerably since those days. If anything the grind is more akin to what [@Fabricant451] said.
