Finally, that thing is dead, Vin thought as he watched what was left of the bio-construct exploded. That thing sure had a drive to kill Paris. It could have easily gone after him. Instead of going after Vin, it just bolted with imbalance towards Paris. Vin did aim and take a few shots at the bio-construct as it went past him. But, it did not faze it, and it did not matter. Despite it all, it failed to kill Paris or anyone else for the matter. The fact that Vin was happy with as whoever shot them down and ambushed them had failed to kill them. A lucky feat, really considering the situation but, enough thinking of that. The matter of getting out of dodge takes priority now that their attackers are all dead. 

Running up the friendly troops before breaking in a walk towards the APC. "Nice to see some friendly faces," he said, granted he could not see anyone their literal faces due to their armor covering their face. Maybe these people will have answers somehow they shoot down in the first place. But that is wishful thinking, and for now, he would be content with finding people that did not want to kill them. Seeing the APC where Paris was, Vin made his way towards it and went inside. Sitting down across from Paris and simply sigh of relief. They were almost out of there, they just need the team to get together, and they can reach someplace safe enough to regroup and complete their mission.
