That was partly what made it different from others, in that others usually had some sort of specialty or gimmick around it, while this one was just a designated patch of trees for training. Up in one of those trees he laid back along a large branch that supported his weight, reading a stack of books he'd brought. At that moment he thumbed through a schlocky 'horror' titled "Snakes in a Hotspring", and on the branch lay a mystery book and a comic of some sort. Eventually the Man's students would arrive, Captain Takuma's new Cadets. As they each arrived, he recalled what he'd read about each of them. His team was strong, far stronger than he'd expected. Strong, and stubborn. They were bullheaded and overconfident. That was something in them that he'd have to demolish immediately. Once all were there he closed his book, set them aside, and jumped down to meet the three of them. His eyes stopped on Naruko for a second longer than the others. 'Adorable... That's a problem. Will worry about it later.' Koji was certain that these three would have words for him, either questions, declarations, or what have you, but they would wait. Right away he spoke first before giving them the chance. His voice was loud, clear, and stern without him even having to raise it. The demanding presence of an experienced commander. "I am Koji Takuma and I've been assigned to be your Jounin. However, I do not have to accept any of you. Regardless of what you showed at the academy, I'm not convinced any of you have what it takes to be Shinobi. You'll have to prove it to me. Should you fail to prove yourselves, I'll send you right back to the academy. Should you prove to be useless and lack potential... Then I'll save the village the trouble and just kill you here." The man sternly told all three of them, watching how they'd react, wondering what they would do next. [/cell][/row]
