She grew into a skilled temptress, using the eternal youth and beauty her kind is famous for. Her kind took pride in being gifted with the powerful ability to entice feelings of desire across all races in Avalia. With adulthood there came an end to the carefree days of her childhood. There was fierce competition among the succubi and their male counterparts the incubi, each honing their skills and perfecting their beauty in an attempt to outsmart the other. 

Tired of dealing with constant competition, backstabbing and ruthlessness Nur moved away from Cocytus, following in the footsteps of many of her sisters, spreading out across Avalia. Countless years passed and Nur started to feel a sense of emptiness. Being desired if only for a fleeting amount of time, no longer gave her the satisfaction it used to. She envied the happy couples she encountered, and despite the reputation of her kind, she resisted the urge to break them apart. Even if it was not meant for her, she still wanted to preserve it wherever she found it. 

Eventually she settled in a small backwater town, in an attempt to live a more quiet life. Life in the secluded town was a welcome change for her. She took to it quickly and with surprising joy. After another unusual day Nur awoke one morning feeling something had changed. She felt weaker, less powerful and it scared her. Whenever she needed to use her power it sometimes didn't even work at all. She started to show signs of age. A grey streak appeared in her hair, which mortified her. Absorbing life force was a temporary solution, as it reversed the effects, only to make it worse afterwards. Her power continued to deplete. Nur began to feel desperate, searching to find out why this was happening to her, and how to restore her power. 

She started her search in Azmor Galus. There she found a lead to the castle of the Lich king. Nur knew a powerless demon would never be granted access to the precious knowledge of Aklenroth's library. Valuing her life she continued her search elsewhere, exhausting every place of knowledge in Avalia. Eventually Nur reached Roshmi, where she witnessed the start of a rebellion against the Aklenroth, led by a fairy princess. There was only one place left to look, by siding with the rebels she could get access to the library.[/color]
