Zombies
Pace There are two different types of zombies. Freshly made ones, and older ones. The newer born zombies are fast and nimble, running after you if they spot you. The older ones have decayed over time, rigor mortis setting in. These ones are easier to get away from, but still deadly if caught. Infection The primary way to contract the virus is through being bitten. However, if you happen to get some zombie blood or saliva in your mouth, you're done for. It takes about five minutes after a bite to be declared infected, so it is possible to remove the infected limb and survive if you're fast enough. Once infected, it'll take an hour or two for it to completely kill you. Those who die will turn almost immediately, unless their brain has been destroyed. Senses Overall, the senses of the zombies seem to vary. If a zombie is newer, their senses are heightened. They can see and hear far better than those that are older. However, it does seem like they rely heavier on sight than they do sound, even when they decay. Weaknesses The main weakness that a zombie has is fire, above all else. Other than that, the weakness will vary depending on how fresh the zombie is. Newer zombies are active at all hours, running around in search for their prey. Older zombies tend to be more active at night.
Mutations
There are various different types of mutated zombies. If you would like to see something incorporated, let me know. The Fireman A zombie that was a firefighter before death. Having been exposed to large amounts of heat, these zombies are acclimated to fire, and almost seem to be resistant to it. They'll last much longer than a normal zombie when exposed to it, but it doesn't seem to be completely immune. Setting it on fire is also kinda hard. The Siren Fake in life, and fake in death. These zombies were heavily modified with plastic surgery before they died, and the virus seems to have affected that. Never truly decaying, they don't seem to be affected at all by rigor mortis, and even seem to take on features of a real person. While they can't talk the talk, they do seem to be able to walk the walk, and can fool survivors if they don't look carefully enough.
