Name: Goroth Age: 32 Species: Mountain Orc Abilities: Physically speaking, Goroth possesses super strength that exceed most humanoid creatures. While his skins are not resistant to sharp weapons, he can take on blunt attacks head on. He is also resistant to cold weather. Skill-wise, Goroth is a dangerous melee fighter, skilled in both unarmed combat and many conventional melee weapon. However the greatsword and the guandao are two of his favorite weapons and that he has mastered the art of wielding such weapon. He is, however, incapable of performing magic nor is resistant to magic attacks. He has green skins and bloodshot red eyes and black tattoo across his left eye given to him by his tribes in his younger days. Personality/Info: Goroth is aggressive, bombastic and rude most often. The default expression you'll likely see on his face is of mild annoyance, any time anything or anyone dares to bother him or does not go his way. He gets angry quite easily, as typical of the orcs, and is keen to outburst when things come his way. But having learnt a great degree of self-control, he rarely actually react violently. The outburst are more for venting easily pent-up anger. Unlike his old tribes, Goroth is a very principled individual. Having been separated with his tribe and forced to be slaves among humans for a while, Goroth soon found himself more familiar with some human philosophies and lifestyle. He hates humans, but gained a rare but profound respect of their culture, in particular their self-discipline (at least in principles). After escaping human captivity, Goroth continued his days devoting himself to the perfection of his craft. Items: Goroth wears a set of plate mail armor covering all but his head. He also carries around a set of weapon and tools, most notably his single-edged greatsword and the guandao, in which he is willing to use against any hostile foe. Backstory: Goroth is quite possibly the last person alive of his tribe... When Goroth was merely 10 years old, human settlers discovered the location of his tribe's settlement. Feeling threatened by the orc's presence, the groups of humans made demands for the tribe to relocate, in which given the aggressive and uncompromising culture of his people, they refused. Soon, the humans proceeded to raid the place time and time again. The first few attempts were thwarted, but as time went by, the human group began to mass more warriors to chase out the barbaric tribe as they call them. Eventually, the defense could not hold, and the inhabitants were either put to the sword or sent into slavery for the humans. Goroth luckily due to his young age, was among the latter group. He was put in chains and marched to human settlements to be sold off. Eventually he was given to the possession of a rather minor lord in the region who demanded slaves of great physical ability to help out with the construction of his village. Life was brutal and hellish being slaves, but he did get to witness (although from afar) human lifestyle. Ironically, despite loathing his human overlord to the depths of hell, Goroth actually admired some of their lifestyle. The discipline, courage and self-respect displayed by some of the humans intrigued him. He also found curiosity in their weapon choices, in particular the sword and spear. And so, every day, for 8 years, Goroth observed the humans, not just for the curiosity of their culture, but also for a way out. One day, a birth celebration of an important family member was held, and guards were sparse where he was held captive. He had his chance, and he took it. Goroth broke the chains keeping him captive for years, killed/knocked out the guards, stole some of the human weapons and equipment before fleeing into the night before the humans could recapture him. Goroth managed to escape the clutch of humanity, but he had learnt a bunch from them. From then on, he lived life like a ronin, wandering around in the wilderness, sometimes appearing to do various odd jobs, attaining money and other equipment like his armor from there. But every single day without fail, he would practice with the weapons that he stole from the humans on that day, using the knowledge that he observed for 8 years long.
