She felt a burning sensation spread through them accompanied by the pumping of blood. It felt a little like what she felt when she used her powers, though it was less potent, and lacked the chill that came with it. When she eventually skidded to a halt, what she found was chaos. Perhaps that shouldn't have been a surprise, considering who they were fighting. Lance was in the process of flying back from a strike administered by a familiar silver blur, before vines began to creep up onto his body. She stood confused for a moment. "What- Wait, is this some Loki mischief magic shit?" She guessed, eyeing the scene, before her eyes caught sight of an emerald hue spreading across Lance's skin. Her eyes went wide, and she quickly sped over to him, shouting over her shoulder, "Mary, get your vines off of Lance! You're hurting him!" as she stopped a few feet away from the boy. "Lance, remember our exercises! Turn your attention away from the pain and the emotion and the rage, and focus on your breath, okay? Count with me...in...out...that's one," she began to run him through a meditative exercise, though it was difficult to speak in a soothing tone when she couldn't even hear herself speak. As she began her count to ten, her attempts at first proved unsuccessful, but at around the fifth breath, she managed to get into a groove that seemed to work. As she continued on, she watched as the green began to recede. "That's it...in...out...nine. In...out...ten."
