[@FalloutJack]: I noticed in your last post, you said Niko didn't win any money. It was stated in one of my posts somewhere, but everyone that made it to the round of sixteen actually did get paid. I never said how much, because that wasn't the point at the time, but I've given it a little thought. I'd say that everyone that made it into the [b]Round of 16[/b] would have gotten the equivalent of about $10,000 USD in today's money. Obviously, this being set in the future and given inflation and what currency your character chose to convert that money into,  this number is likely to be higher, but the effect is the same. 

Anyways, imagine everyone in the [b]Round of 16[/b] got $10,000. For every stage further that one got in the tournament, that number was multiplied by 10. With this in mind: Niko actually got $1,000,000. Bakuto got 10,000,000. And Angela got 100,000,000.
