F.... Second???
True Name: Medea Title(s): Witch of Betrayal, Princess of Colchis Class: Avenger Gender: Female Birth and Death Dates: 700~400 BC Greece Alignment: Neutral Evil Motivation for the Holy Grail: To rightfully persecute Jason and the Gods, who were treated as victims in legend. Secretly, she also wishes for salvation to return to her homeland... A return to her mundane life before Jason arrived. Personality: Arrogant, possessive, and quick to anger. Medea is one who never allows herself to feel weakness lest she be taken advantage of again. This can make her short sided and impulsive but exceedingly vulnerable. If someone tries to get close to her they'd find her overbearingly critical and wary to the point it'd seem like she was on the border of madness. The Avenger Class vessel has muddled any real reason and turned her into a dangerous ally, but not one that would betray others for her own gain since that would cause her to embody the moniker that she so despises. If someone were to betray her, however, she'd immediately kill them without a second thought as rage overtook the embers of her rationality no matter how small this 'betrayal' she perceives. Since its interwoven with her Noble Phantasm it's gained protective properties equivalent to a C-rank Noble Phantasm. In practice modern day mysteries have a hard time penetrating this cloth. The more humanity idolizes their grudge towards the hero, the stronger their image becomes, converting these curses into strength. Medea is the spurned princess whom all expect betrayal while they likewise pity those who wronged her. Jason, the Gods, and Greece itself demonized Medea into a monster who can only betray. Medea revels in the role she's been given and finds herself able to replenish magical energy at an astounding rate by embodying these curses. Oblivion Correction: B+ The grudges that fester in the individual which are never able to be forgotten. In Medea's case, it pertains to those who've wronged her or whom she has perceived as wronging her. This results in her never forgetting the most 'ideal place to strike' to exact her vengeance. In particular, those who've physically betrayed Medea will be dealt a critical blow in a single hit. Self-Replenishment: C An desire for vengeance will never disappear easily, and likewise Avengers cling to the world. Medea's overflowing disdain for the world's treatment and demeaning of her struggle give her purpose. Much like an Archer's Independent Action, her persistent hatred allows her to stay in the world for three days without a Master. Further, when sufficiently anchored, it allows her to regenerate energy at an increased rate. Personal Skills High-Speed Divine Words: A Since its merely the pronunciation of a language and not the actual theory that reproduces mystery, Medea's aptitude doesn't drop despite not being of the Caster Class. The scope and number of spells she can maintain simultaneously is diminished somewhat due to Medea's constantly overflowing hatred and animosity. She's also limited by the to the lack of Territory and likewise lesser reserves of Magical Energy to support her spells. Still she's a capable magus far removed from modern day thaumaturgy. Proof of Friendship (False): B The ability to mask one's status as "Evil" and a "Witch" so as to not have a negative effect one one's standing in conversation. In legend there are many instances where Medea deceived others despite the obvious risks and glaring possibility of misfortune. The murder of her father is a chief example but probably the best known instance was the murder of Glauce. Jason knew of Medea's hatred and peerless trickery as a magus but still allowed her to gift his beloved wife a poisoned dress. This action ultimately doomed Jason's bride to an agonizing death as if burned. Blessings of Helios: EX This allows Medea to channel pure essence of the sun. She will never feel the ill affects of cold and is naturally able to recover her reserves by dwelling in sunlight. Much like a bloody flower kissed by the daylight. It also neutralizes any magecraft pertaining to 'flames' or 'sunlight' since those are the domains of Helios Avenger can also activate this skill's full effect to temporarily summon the God's chariot which is drawn by a pair of Dragons. Due to lacking the "Riding skill" she finds herself unable to use the mount in combat and instead is only able to use it to travel great distances with extreme quickness. Noble Phantasm True Name: Apprehéndite Auream Title: The Beautiful Gift of the Spurned Princess Rank: C Noble Phantasm Type: Anti-unit Range: 1~10 Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: A Cursed Fabric that simultaneously sets fire to and poisons all whom are embraced by it. Originally it was crafted into a flawless dress that was gifted to Glauce by Medea, resulting in her agonizing death, this isn't the finite form of the cloth. Avenger can manipulate this fabric at will with the aide of her Magecraft and allow it to reweave itself instantly into any shape she so desires. Generally they take the place of gold and black ribbons with a splattering of red color. These are normally woven into Medea's cloak, harmless to her generally since the flaming poison only manifesting when Od is channeled into the strands. . These "ribbons" can expand tens of meters in an instant and follow Medea's will as quickly as she can speak her Divine Words. A single action is all it takes to have them reform into any shape imaginable and have durability on par with a conventional Noble Phantasm. This makes it quite adept at blocking sword strikes, arrows, and even some high powered magecraft. These singular strands of fabric can be broken easily by servants individually but Medea can repair them with a bit of magical energy. Normal humans cannot break these hazardous strings no matter how hard they struggle with conventional strength. Conversely while Servants can easily break individual strands they can find it much harder to free themselves the more that are woven together as a firm "binding". Those with A rank strength will be able to break free no matter how many strands Medea weaves together. Upon supplying magical energy to the strands it manifests an ancient poison. Anything in contact with or bound up in the woven strands becomes afflicted by "fire" as the affliction seeps into nearly any organic substance. Using the flesh itself as a fuel source these magical flames burn out of control until the victim is consumed completely. These fires are incredibly intense and can completely combust a normal human in a matter of seconds at full effectiveness down to their bones. Servants who are stricken by this poison take heavy fire damage and the flame will continue to burn unless overwhelmed with magical energy, quelling the damage by ejecting it forcefully from their bodies. Since it requires contact with flesh, it does nothing against armor nor weapons, only able to find the ability to ignite if it touches bare skin. However these fabrics can be fashioned into crude weapons and squeeze a victim hard enough to break bones so even without the use of poison they are quite deadly.
