He doesn't necessarily have a slight build, but he certainly isn't David Hasselhoff. In the past he's been told that his eyes are his most identifying feature, a dark ivy green that matches his warm skin tone. Dark brown hair that's not straight or curly, he has no trouble growing facial hair to cover up his lip scar from elementary school but he's been told he looks more than fine with nothing covering it. He prefers to wear his hair on the longer side but he does make the chop once or twice a year into something a little bit more traditional. His clothes aren't boring per say, just simple. Ever since his father died Jude hasn't stopped wearing his fathers old bomber jacket, the words 'Miller' embroidered on the back like it's a varsity jacket. it also has a patch on the left arm that reads 'fighting irish'. Even though Jude isn't a fighter like his dad was, he would never take it off.
R e l a t i o n s h i p s
Jude is gay, and didn't really know he was for a long time. He figured out when he was twenty-three but didn't do a thing about it for the next year at least. Jude is actually quite the romantic, so this level is at 10. But he did find his person, so he is taken. None. His mother and father kind of died in quick succession of each other, they were both older when they had him, so it wasn't a surprise when they died. Jude has known Brian Adams his entire life, and probably has liked him for just as long, but they got together seven years ago and Jude is happy
[row][/row][row][cell]
P e r s o n a l i t y
Mr. Miller certainly isn't antisocial. Never has been, more that he's choosy about his friends and when he talks to them. He's a bit of a bleeding heart at moments, the opposite of self serving and can sometimes even be a little bit sacrificial. In another timeline, where everything stayed the same, he probably would have been a nurse. He's simple, it doesn't require much to appease him, and even if you do fall short he's not likely to tell you. A bit of a daydreamer at times, which doesn't really align with the fact that he's a total left brain stereotype. Good at math, bad at English unless it's a love poem, quick to find solutions to problems with virtually no bias unless it involves the death of many human beings. Deescalation is another marketable skill of his. His mother taught him how to compartmentalize, to tuck all your problems away into neat little boxes and to take them back out when your ready. Nowadays it's a really good technique for not going stark raving mad. When he's not being a human calculator, he's probably doing his journal entry. It's one of those things that he does in pretty near silence most days, and his journal from the last year came with him when he left the Disorder. It may seem like it would drag him down, but a pencil and a paper will not hurt. He's sentimental, which in this kind of world doesn't really work out anymore. While he's not much of a fighter, he can be pushed to that extreme. He can be a really good worker bee if asked, but he doesn't really prefer it. Loving, gentle, and calm under pressure, he's generally a really pleasant person to be around. [/cell][cell]
B a c k g r o u n d
Jude Miller was the child of two worker bees, a military brat who traveled during his infancy and was lucky enough to settle down in Fort Worth when he was about a year and a half old. He lived a relatively normal life for eleven straight years, he got into boxcars and comic books, shot guns and hunted with his dad and played baseball with his best friend. Then the world went to shit. Fort Worth hunkered down, made a big show of staying there for four long years until another disaster struck. Both of his parents followed a group of other survivors to the Order. He didn't hate it, at first. But after his father's health started to decline and they still made him work to the bone, he felt the bitter beginnings of resentment. He's good at hiding it, still is, even after watching both his father and his mother collapse from exhaustion and not wake up. They only lasted three years within the Order, and they gave Jude three days to grieve before he was put to work as an engineer. This position was by his fathers design, he had always seen a career of such magnitude for his son, and this was the closest to an old World job he could get too. Jude had met a girl when he was 20, around the time his best friend had started seeing some boy, Jude couldn't even remember his name at this point. He dated Angelina for three long years, and after a pregnancy scare and deciphering it wasn't hate that made him want to twist Brian's boyfriends head off but jealousy, Jude made the jump. He broke up with her and turned his attention to his best friend. They were both 24 when they got together and have been together ever since. While they both lived in the Order together, it all changed when Jude was selected for experimentation. A dead solider in their living room and a frantic bag packed later, Jude and his enforcer boyfriend are on the run.
