He'd love to ask for her opinion on the magic he had attempted to do, as well as if she could teach him any tricks as well. Perhaps he could learn to turn himself into a fox as well? So many questions and propositions, so many mysteries within her den... It was a shame Malphas had chosen not to follow the fox after all. Instead, Malphas had spent the time cleaning off the stolen fish discarded by the fox. One of the many lessons Malphas had learned during his previous life ws to choose his victories. He was a bit tired of chasing a fox around, especially after spending the last few hours running for his dear life. For now, he'll let Novak chase after the furry thing, while Malphas would tend to cleaning the mess it left, as well as returning the fish it had stolen. Someone's livelihood was at stake! Whether the fisherman accepted the stolen fish back or not, Malphas scratched his head, wondering just where Novak had gone. Perhaps he went deeper into the woods and got lost on the way? As much as Malphas wished to go and find him, he still needed at least a nice hide cuirass, if not a couple arrows, before he made his trek onward. Malphas could also report to the craftsman and let him know what had happened... but they might just get upset, and also forfeit Malphas's reward. What to do, what to do... Maybe Malphas will grab a snack. See what the local food tastes like. Yes, that sounds like a wonderful idea! He closed his eyes and allowed his nose to guide him, following any scent of food he could pick up. If this were a cartoon, he would be humorously floating off following the visible aroma of food.
