Roxy hated every second of the drive. She wasn't a fan of enclosed spaces. Plus they were heading to spend the weekend with Devika's family. She wasn't looking forward to being the awkward wheel. No matter how nice they were to her, she wouldn't really belong. But it would be worth it. Devika deserved a chance to spend time with her family. It was clear they were close. They needed to rebuild the bond they had. 

She noticed they were in a nice area. Not upscale but nice. Not that she would have thought of any less of Devika if she hadn't come from a nice area. No one could control where they were born. Part of her was eager to met Devika's family. It would be nice to learn more about the woman that she was living with.
