So defensive and closed off. Elias knew he wouldn't get through his brother so easily but it still worried him. Having all that pent up anger wasn't one bit healthy for the mind. He understood that opening up to others, even family, was not something that could a person come by easily. Family. Elias hadn't know Talon's childhood. He practically knew nothing about his little brother, or any of his siblings. The only one he really felt close to was Octavia. Brandon always seemed so intimidating, even for Elias. And Talon, Talon always acted like he didn't care. Like he was fine all the time. Still acting so stern and confident, and yet he couldn't even talk to Elias. He wouldn't. "I do care, Talon." Elias kept his voice calm. He honestly did care for the younger boy. It wasn't until a few years ago that he finally found out he had more family aside from his mother and grandparents. The first few days at camp had been the best. He was just getting to know the rest of his siblings. Talon had always been his little brother, no matter how far it felt that Elias had to reach him. Elias wasn't going to push it. Talon needed his space, especially after what Octavia had done to get him down from the tower. "I'll be here, T. No matter what you think, you are my family. Okay?" He knew it would take some convincing for Talon to realize that Elias wasn't lying. He didn't care about some stupid position to the cabin. He cared about Talon. Now, a bit deflated, Elias turned around to finally acknowledge the other situation at hand. He hadn't caught what Dionysus or Chiron had announced but by the look and protests of the rest of the campers, he could tell it was nothing good.
