There is a massive clap of thunder. The locusts that were swarming towards Mortus suddenly begin turning on each other, biting and eating one another. Soon the locusts stop coming in through the window, and most of the ones inside are dead. The fires in the prison have also died down a bit. There is a huge quaking in the ground then, which knocks the prison door down, freeing Mortus from the cell. Somewhere in the prison there is shouting, and it sounds like some prisoners have escaped and are being chased by guards. Outside, the thunderstorm continues to rage, even harder than before. It's like the stormclouds have started battling each other, shooting thunderbolts at one another.

Pebbles sees the knife and Kirby's pose, and is hesitant to continue approaching.

The demonic employee looks up and sees that the blood-painted wrestler has stopped his approach. Meagerly he gets up and slowly walks back towards Kirby. He nervously takes the knife from Kirby and begins preparing to chop Kirby again, shaking and looking like he might burst into tears out of anxiety at any moment.
