Penny

Penny took everything in, solem as she did so. Bellus was young, the thrill of a fight still something... beautiful for him. She had never enjoyed fighting- still didn't, but there were times when it was necessary. Fighting for her family... her guild.... And yes, fighting for moral. Still. She sighed softly, but it was clear that the rest of the guild was excited for it. And that was enough for her. Her gaze moved back to the mage that had so frightened Karn. "Well, we are always here to help. One of us generally is." She said, her gaze moving to Karn as the boy seemed to gain but some of his usual charm, his innocence. It was heartening to Penny, and she smiled slightly. Karn deserved happiness- and so did Edarn. They seemed to have found a balance, a way to co-exist. Two years could change a lot, but... she still worried. "The Festival would be a great boost for the town... It would be good to display good things." She said, putting her arm back around Karn as he once more hid behind her. As the conversation seemed to change yet again, Penny pondered whether or not she could slip away for a few moments, her gaze moving through the crowd and just as she was about to speak, a child's high pitched, excited voice echoed out, and Penny's attention was drawn, just in time, to the somewhat uncordinated toddler making her way through the guild, towards her. "Faith!" She couldn't help but smile, as the girl totted as fast as she could towards her. She hadn't seen the girl often, but it was, evidently, enough for the girl to remember her. She let out a laugh as Faith's features scrunched up into a determined look, and Penny was prepared as she jumped up. SHe caught her with one arm, bending her knees slightly and grinned. "Pen-Pen!" The girls voice, bell like, was happy as she nested against Penny, "Now, just where did you come from? Where's your mama?" "She got away from me. She saw you, and that was it. She just poofed from my side" Penny turned her gaze from Faith, to Sasha and her smile grew. "Ka-Ka-kan-ie!" Faith, still clutching Penny with one hand, tilted slightly to look at Karn, her smile wide and full, reaching out as if she could touch him. Penny shifted her hold on her slightly, making sure the girl was secure. "Sasha"

Michael

Michael shouldn't be surprised- Prince would never change, and Michael didn't mind that. He doubted Prince could ever miss an opportunity to pounce on him, and he smiled, the good cheer Prince always seemed to have was infectious. Beyond that, Michael enjoyed Prince's company. Still, he ducked his head slightly, cheeks a little warm for the attention of it all. It was simple, however, to reach out and take Prince's paw in his own hand, giving his friend a smile. "Good Morning, Prince." He said softly, his gaze flicking over to Cailyn as she spoke. "I wouldn't say good news, but he is returning." He shifted slightly, wishing he knew more. His gaze flicked over the guild again- he'd been right, and Master Jake had already left. Biting his lip, thoughtful, he looked back over to Prince. The Masters only seemed to meet up when things were bad- or if there were bad things to talk about. Well, whatever it was, he was sure they'd be told soon.

Jamie

Jamie glanced at the lacrima that should the guild hall, watching as someone made their way confidently towards her office- for she was sure th is woman was heading straight to her. Idly, Jamie gathered up a few sheets of paper, putting them away in one of her desk drawers as she leaned back in her chair. "Ah. Welcome, Mrs Duran. It is a pleasure to meet you. I trust you found your way through the city alright" She said, rising- running a hand through her hair as she smiled at the woman. She took the offered hand with her free hand, giving it a shake in greeting.
