Name: Kelemen Valentin Title(s): “That kid who helps cats stuck in the tree” Gender: Male Age: 13 Previous Alignment(s): Budapest Community Centre Volunteer Society Motivation for the Holy Grail: To bring his family back from the dead Personality: Kelemen is a child who still has the view of the world a child does. Simple minded and easily impressed, Kelemen finds much of the so-called adult world to be needlessly complicated, incapable of finding simple solutions to seemingly simple problems. A big fan of the local superhero show “Justice Force Spectronizer”, Kelemen derives much of his morality from the show's messages and ideas. He is prone to seeing things as “good” or “evil” with little to no concept of gray morality or questions of morality – primarily because he has yet to be challenged by such concepts yet. If there is a bright side to his simple mindset, it is that he believes in his ideals wholeheartedly. He is often found volunteering around the community, offering to shovel the driveways of the elderly, helping cats that are stuck in trees – often to extremely questionable lengths. Once, he climbed up a streetlight lamp to help recover a child's balloon, regardless of the risks or dangers that posed. Biography: Kelemen was born to a relatively well off family in Hungary, living the life any regular child would. Surrounded by a loving family, if there was any thing he would be concerned about it was that his parents seemed to push and challenge his older sister in ways he did not understand. As with many children, he found heroes and idols on the television; in Kelemen's case, it was the titular “Spectronizer” of the show “Justice Force Spectronizer”. This all ended three years ago, when Kelemen came home to find his home in ruins and his family dead. All that he got to say were a few words of panic before his sister managed to push a box into his arms and expired. He was comforted as any child would be, first surrounded by first responders, then by the social net that was the Hungarian orphanage system. Despite the drastic change from being surrounded by loving family to being surrounded by the cold bureaucracy of an institution, Kelemen continued to persevere. Within the box, Kelemen discovered the location of a secret storage his family had. Within it, he found several life size statutes – or what he believed were statues – and discovered another, greater item that his family had left for their last survivor. And to this day, he continues to exist, blissfully unaware that his entire morality is built on a house of cards; his entire desire impossible even for the greatest of powers to grant. How a young idealizing hero will react to the reality of the world around him, only time will tell. Elemental Affinity: Earth Magic Circuit Switch: A certain sound effect from a popular kids tv show – more specifically, Spectronizer's transformation sound effect. Number of Magic Circuits: Average Quality of Magic Circuits: Minimum Magecraft: Golemancy - the creation of artificial beings through a variety of techniques; although the Valentin family uses the Kabbalah discipline as a foundation at the moment Kelemen's understanding of the art is extremely limited due to a lack of formal study and the disconnected nature of any information he has to work from. Most of his time studying magic is spent deciphering any surviving notes left in the storage. Magic Crest: None. All that remains of the magic crest passed through generations remains in a organ stored in a box kept by Kelemens that only magical means can open; waiting for its last rightful claimant to either claim it or cast it aside – assuming, of course, he even gets the opportunity. Equipment: Diamond Guardian/”Mechanized Courage Lord Brave Shine”: The magnum opus of the Valentin family, the Great Diamond is golem standing at 9 meters tall. Capable of housing inhabitants in its armoured body and obey verbal commands of its master, it is also capable of flight and heeding its master's call from a 200km radius. It is capable of flight and camouflaging in order to appear like part of the Transdanubian mountains. Aside from the brute force of its larger body, the Diamond Guardian is also capable of deploying shield golems that can float around it, capable of moving no more than 1 meter away from the centre of Diamond Guardian. The Shield is then capable of deploying a prana shield of 1m x1m. Although the shields are meant to be replenished, due to the current circumstances its owner is unable to produce more. It has a total of 15 shields. Over its time with its new master, it has slowly but surely begun to be altered with the use of clay, paint and cardboard in order to resemble a hero's giant robot. Gold Knight/”Justice Force Spectronizer”: One of the two combat golems used by the family as guardians, the Gold Knight is proficient in swordplay, unarmed combat and other forms of close quarters combat. It is also able to hear its master's call from a 200km radius. Also capable of acting in self defence autonomously. The Golden Knight carriers a sword and, when in close proximity to its master (within 100m or so) it is able to utilize prana to increase the potency of its sword. Originally a golem fine crafted and modified through generations; left in Kelemen's hands it was slowly morphed in the image of a child's hero. Silver Knight/”Resurrected Hero Actionizer”: One of the two combat golems used by the family as guardians, the Silver Knight is proficient in archery, dagger throwing and other forms of short to medium range combat, with a passing proficiency for unarmed combat but inferior to its golden counterpart. It is also able to hear its master's call from a 200km radius. Also capable of acting in self defence autonomously. The Silver Knight carriers a bow and a set of arrows and, when in close proximity to its master (within 100m or so) it is able to utilize prana to fire bows of energy instead of solid arrows instead. Originally a golem fine crafted and modified through generations; it's original body, molded in the image of a silver armoured knight, was left in Kelemen's hands. Under his care, it was slowly morphed in the image of an antihero who was overcome by the hero's ideals. Featherdove/”Forcewatch birdie”: A minor golem used the family for various tasks, Featherdove is capable of watching for intruders and delivering messages to recipients – although why Kelemens would do this when cellphones exist is a mystery. Originally a golem created for mundane tasks, it was slowly morphed in the image of a hero's companion. Knightwatcher/”The Herowatch”: A small circular plate that can display the status, distance and conditions of each of the four golems under its user's control. Originally just a dish, Kelemen glued it onto a broken watch and wears it proudly. Crafter glove: A simple glove that helps steady the hand of its wearer; it helps craft the most delicate figures and sculpt the most precise and detailed of figures for purposes of art and creation. Battered pair of sneakers: a pair of sneakers his family presented to him for the last birthday he had the joy of spending with them; this pair of sneakers is enchanted to help him feel light and run further while feeling less tired. Although long since battered and worn, he still wears them with joy.
