Ok, here we go:
Name: Kyrsi Eirisphere Age: 17 Gender: Female Personality: Kirsi could be considered a bit eccentric if it wasn’t for the fact that all mages are eccentric in their own ways already. She’s energetic and happy-go-lucky, almost a goofball when it comes to her outward personality. However, her values are warped to the point that she’s completely ok with cursing people in horrible ways and literally grafting their souls to the dolls that she uses her familiars. That said, Kirsi isn’t an evil person, she won’t go out of her way to hurt others unless it’s absolutely necessary. Appearance:

Skills: Aside from magecraft related stuff, Kyrsi's only noteworthy skill is sewing which she does not only because her magic demands it but hobby that she caught over the years. Abilities: As a traditionally schooled magus, Kyrsi has all of the basics covered. Her family's signature magecraft is Spirit Invocation, a research into the very substance from which souls are made of as well as their interactions with fate. Kyrsi employs it in an unorthodox manner; binding wraiths to mystic codes shaped like plush dolls (particularly damaged-looking teddy bears) that she carries around as key chains. With a minimal infusion of magical energy, the dolls are turned back to their normal size and do Kyrsi's bidding. They attack with vicious claws and fangs that carry curses from the vengeful spirits. In addition to her plushies, Kyrsi has a sewing kit mystic code that has been passed down her family for generations, which she carries around in a pouch the whole time. It's a collection of tools specialized for the creation of other mystic codes and other related activities, but since they also carry a considerable number of curses of their own, they can be to fight other magi if need be. The most important items in the kit are a bundle of thread made from an ancient witch's hair, a set of needles made from narwhal tusks, and a pair of scissors whose blades are rumored to be made from the shards of a demonic sword. Last but not least, because of her family's research into the substance of souls, Kirsi is knowledgeable about Spiritual Surgery. Whether or not it's a good idea to let her practice it is another matter entirely. Brief Backstory: Kirsi is the latest heiress of the Eirisphere family; a not particularly ancient magus bloodline, having between two and three hundred years of magecraft practice. Their household is located in the lands under the jurisdiction of the Edelfelts, even though they remain mostly independent as long as they can keep honoring their leasing contract. While Kirsi is the most brilliant individual to be born in her family to this day, her quirkiness was a massive source of worry for her father. It was in fact one big surprise for everyone, including Kirisi, when she received the command seals that meant that she would have a chance to participate in the infamous ritual known as the Holy Grail War. However, it was to no one's surprise that she took the chance just because it looked like it would be fun. The idea that she might lose her life in the process never crossing her mind.

• Name: Aldr von Reinrich • Age: 65 • Gender: Male • Personality: Reinrich is an exemplar of what the Association considers a perfect magus. Serious and focused, treating issues dealing with the world of magecraft and his family's pursuit of a path connecting to the Origin, with the utmost respect and propriety. A no-nonsense man that always conducts himself in a sober, business-like manner. He'll use any tool and resources available to accomplish the tasks he sets up for himself. While he's pretty capable of cold-blooded acts like disposing of civilians and innocents, if need be, Reinrich feels no joy in such acts. The same compassion isn't spared towards other magi, especially those that dare oppose his family's dream. As he marches off to a Holy Grail War, Reinrich resolved himself to win no matter who he needs to crush in the way to learn the secrets of this ritual and see for himself whether or not the summoning of Heroic Spirits in the modern era is possible or not. He has a keen eye for art and relics, as well as, a nigh encyclopedic knowledge in European and Middle Eastern history. He's taught in economics and accounting for many aspiring magi and even normal humans and has always been proud of feats like calculating interest and return rates for long term transactions in a matter of moments with nothing but his mind. • Abilities: Reinrich's magecraft is specialized in Spiritual Evocation, most focused on Necromancy and curses. One particularly interesting use of their family's skill is manipulating snakes and poison, thanks to their long standing association with death. The key aspect of their research lies in the pursuit of the secrets from beyond the grave and thus, Earth magecraft is a natural extension of their powers. Modern humans lost most of their contact with the underworld and the lands of the dead. Science killed the solemn respect inspired by the mere sight of a dark cave and the Reinrich family seek to connect back to it. In legends of yore, it's not uncommon for a hero to gain a renewed understanding of the world and wisdom after journeying through the depths of the World of the Dead and back to the lands of the living. It's only natural that such a journey would also be the pathway to the Root. In addition to his magecraft knowledge, Reinrich came to the war with a noteworthy Mystic Code: his cane which can turn into a deadly poisonous viper on command. The powerful curse imbued in its poison is enough to rot flesh and destroy magic circuits. A weapon that shouldn't be trifled with. He's also known to use daggers fashioned from bone that can deliver a similar, albeit weaker effect. • Brief Backstory: Born to an established lineage of magi with a pretty long story in the world of magecraft. The Reinrich runs an Association exclusive bank, dealing not only with the large sums of money that traditional magi require to run their research but also with other items of interest for those of their craft. After was born and raised in such an environment, it's only natural that Reinrich would become an upstanding, traditionalist mage that reflects the best values the Association sees in its members. The decision to participate in this Holy Grail War didn't come out of nowhere either. Reinrich only accepted the call of the Holy Grail because he just recently finished the process of transferring his family's crest to his first-born. As a last precaution, he left his wife in charge of all his possessions and family business, until their daughter comes of age, in case he doesn't return from this quest. Reinrich has no interest in the Grail whatsoever. However, this is a once in a lifetime chance for a grand battle between magi, with their own honor and the prestige of their families at stake. Reinrich couldn't let such a chance to put his mettle to test escape between his fingers. Call it a late midlife crisis, but now that Reinrich is free from his obligations, the thought of cutting loose was too enticing to pass. Even if it costs him his life, Reinrich is sure that whatever he learns there will prove to be useful for his heiress and the future generations of his family.
