Olivia also has very little regard for social hierarchies and uppity types, thinking those structures serve no purpose other than for insecure people to have the illusion that their attitudes and demeanor actually mean something. Olivia's experience throughout her years have proven that status is only an illusion, as there's always something that can bring people crashing down to Earth. [indent] Olivia Rossi was born to Marco and Andrea Rossi in Portland, Oregon. The story of how Marco and Andrea came to be was a weird one -- not many would expect a martial artist and a musician to come together and get married, but there they went. Marco was a world-class judoka while Andrea herself was a cellist; the story of how they met would be considered something out of a cheesy romantic movie, but there they were. Shortly after Olivia's birth, the couple relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, to be closer to family, be immersed in one of the multicultural meccas of the country, for Marco to seize the opportunity to open up his own martial arts studio. 

Olivia was quickly pushed into both of her parents' biggest hobbies, starting judo and the cello at a very young age. The first few years were filled with Olivia absorbing all sorts of things like a sponge - learning how to read a bass clef while also learning how to use someone's momentum to topple them over like a tower. It was a great way to channel her boundless energy as a child. However, as she started to get older and more and more time was taken up by school, it was increasingly more difficult for Olivia to balance all sorts of aspects of her life. School, judo, and the cello ate up a significant amount of her time, and her parents were starting to worry about whether or not she could balance everything.

After her sophomore year in high school, it was decided that Olivia was to be sent to a boarding school to help alleviate some of the issues she was facing. Additionally, Andrea was rendered very impressed with the music program at Marble Heights. With the school being right there in her backyard, Marco and Andrea figured that Olivia would have a much easier time with balancing everything as well as have an easier time socializing with people outside of her hobby circles. Only time will tell how this gamble pays off for Olivia and her growth.

[indent] Olivia prefers to keep her judo endeavors a secret as best as she can. She is under the impression that if people were to find out, they would be afraid of her and thus screw over her chances of making meaningful relationships. Despite outwardly not caring about who the supposed royalty of this school are, Olivia is very much afraid of having people be afraid of her and thinking she's some sort of asshole when she's really not. Olivia is also prone to anxiety attacks and overthinks many things, to the point of sometimes second guessing herself and it takes a LOT of repetitions to get over it.
