Fighting over a rock to prove who was the ‘strongest,’ like crows dueling over a shiny pebble. What exactly was their sensei trying to prove with buckets and rocks? If a person was a hinderance among the Spiga, they killed them. It didn’t make any sense to allow ones teammates to be hinderances. Supressing a growl, she spat a sticky web into each of her barrels, forming a translucent lid over the top. If Kuree wanted her to carry her buckets the whole time, well, she’d treat her to a pair of bludgeons. "Well that was fun guys. I'll see you two around. Burai-san we can still train later. I'm going to wait for an instructor that will teach me to be a shinobi instead of a bull that charges through walls. Jaa-ne." Kenshiro said, suddenly walking away. Kenshiro had been putting on its formal robes, which Shiori had taken as a show of confidence. But as it happened, it had never planned to fight at all! It was just going to abandon them! Losing was one thing, but to be disregarded like that… If anyone was going to delegitimize sensei’s stupid test, it was going to be Shiori. Kenshiro leaving made the rest of them look like idiots. And they already looked like idiots! Shiori wouldn’t have it. Whatever their jounin was trying to inspire, she didn’t care. She hadn’t shown off her body to the whole village and shouldered buckets across half of it just to be shown up now. Kenshiro needed to learn who the real leader of their team was, and Shiori was ready to demonstrate. She pulled a thick glob of webbing from her mouth and hurled it at Kenshiro, forming a silvery rope in the air between the two as it struck him in the back. “Oh no you don’t.” She said matter-of-factly, and yanked the web back towards her, pulling the surprised Hyuuga onto his butt. “You’re my teammate, whether you like it or not. I don’t want to be here any more than you do, but we’re in this together.” She continued, pulling the rope and her captive teammate back towards her. She didn’t bother to acknowledge Burai, who in her mind had been hovering around uselessly like an irritating gnat - watching, commenting, and doing nothing at all useful. She’d already learned how to tune out people of little significance, and Kenshiro was the one making all the major moves. But it wasn’t moving much now. Once the webbed genin was near enough, Shiori looked back to Kuree, her expression chipper and ready to learn. “Now, tell us the rest of this stupid test, sensei.” She said sweetly, her smile just as bright as when she said she’d wanted to help the village to become it’s best.
