Regan took a deep whiff of the air, a scent catching her nose, “do you smell that…?” Sniff sniff. “I smell… barbeque. Oooh, I think we’ve found the restaurant we want. It smells well-spiced and savory. Ooh, my mouth is watering.” She looked at Brianna with a certain glee on her face. Nothing quite like good food, after all. One of her favorite things about her old guild master, but she shouldn’t think too hard about him. It would spoil her mood. “Aah, I didn’t quite realize how hungry I was.” She gave a little giggle and led the way with an extra spring in her step. She’d approach the host and ask for a table for two outside, still with the young lady on her arm. Their seat taken, when the waitress came around, she’d ask for a lager or stout and let Brianna order her Long Island herself. She’d be prepared to remind her of it, if it seemed like the adorable airhead forgot, but she’d let the young lady order. The waitress scuttled off and she picked up the menu. “Ribs, ribs… ooh, tonkatsu. That’s good, too…” She checked her coin purse, quickly. Nice and heavy, good. “Maybe I’ll get both…” It took Brianna a bit off when Regan started smelling the air but then it hit her, they must be close to the restaurant, which is a wonderful thing. She sniffed the air and it was, Barbeque smell. “Yes I do, it’s a wonderful smell, Master.” Brianna had glee on her face as well, which made her stomach rumble and made her feel a bit embarrassed. “Uhh, looks like I didn’t know how hungry I was either.” Brianna cutely giggled slightly to try to get off from the embarrassment. Thankfully, they got a seat outside, which was a wonderful idea by Regan. Brianna asked for a Long Island Tea from the waitress since she wanted to try that the most. She picked up the menu and saw all the nifty food items, Ribs and all the other things on it. “Ribs, and tonkatsu!” Brianna got out her purse, which she thankfully, was carrying with her, like she would forget that. “Uhh, hmm… I definitely can get both.” Brianna smiled cutely, it's all because she is an heiress from a wealthy family. “Uhh, I can pay for the meal if you want… I don’t mind at all, and I usually give big tips to the waitresses.” She had a beautiful smile on her face, and she giggled slightly too. The girl was just as enthusiastic about food as she was, herself. A healthy appetite for a healthy warrior, very good. She smiled, and considered the option of letting Brianna pay, “ah, well, I’d hate to invite you out to eat and then make you pay.” Though, I don’t necessarily have a steady source of income, either. I don't have a business backing my pocketbook, either. Ah, but I'm supposed to be her mentor! What kinda mentor does that? "I can pick up the tip, at least. I'd feel bad if I didn't contribute." She turned her eyes back to the menu when something special caught her attention. She gasped, "beef riiiiibs…" she wouldn't normally order them because they're so expensive, but if Brianna was picking up the tab, she might! It was tempting. "Ooh, should I? Aaah, no, that's too much." They're hard to find, too… she could always come back later. The waitress came back with their drinks and took their orders. The large glass beer mug placed in front of her put a grin on her face, and she held it up for Brianna to toast with her. Regan would let her come in for the clink, since her own glass was by far the heavier one, even if it were empty. "To new friends." Clink, glug glug, "ooh, that's good! I'll have to ask what it is, maybe I'll pick some up in the market for later. Want a sip?" A nice strong stout, with a malty, gently sweet taste to it. "Mm, so, you asked about my style before. I didn't tell you much, so I'll elaborate. Our sword style actually does not rely much on the sword. We prefer hand-to-hand, as it is less lethal, but sometimes you just need a sword. Fatalities will happen with it's use, it is understandable, but again, that's why we prefer on hand-to-hand. We focus on inflicting pain to demotivate an opponent, and knockout strikes to take care of particularly stubborn individuals. Breaking bones and cutting tendons are also techniques we employ, though we prefer the former. Bones heal much more easily." Brianna happily was wanting to be generous as she wanted. However, it took Regan to speak about that. “Aww, don’t feel too bad it's better to pitch in every now and then for anyone. I would like to keep my family’s reputation in the good sense of the word.” It was a thing with Brianna to keep her family’s reputation of being generous people. Brianna thought for a while and she nodded about that. “Yeah, you can pick up the tip, Master Hadou! Hehe, this is really fun.” It was a definite enthusiasm within Brianna, she was having fun. However, when her master said beef ribs, the mention of that was like a bit of a mouth watering experience. “Ooh, Beef Ribs sound great… I would love to share the beef ribs with you, Master.” Brianna had a happy little smile on her face because Beef Ribs were something else in terms of Regan’s reaction to them. She had basically put her imaginary foot down basically, because she never really tried Beef Ribs either. “Oh come on, lets eat some beef ribs with our other kinds of ribs and tonkatsu.” Brianna didn’t mind too much about the price of the Beef Ribs, but the rarity of them made her mouth water. Brianna was extremely happy to see her long island tea get placed in front of her, by the waitress. She noticed how much bigger the glass mug was that Regan had and was like neat, but when her master held it up for a toast she did the same thing. Brianna clinked her glass and Regan, it made a great sound. “To new friends!” Brianna took a drink out of her tea and it definitely had an alcoholic taste to it, which was great. “Oh my, this tea is so good. Yeah I would love to take a sip of yours.” She took a sip of Regan’s alcoholic beverage. “That is great, I love its sweet taste, Master.” Brianna giggled about it because it was a sweet tasting beverage. Brianna listened to Master Hadou’s elaboration of the Hadou Style. It was very intriguing how they would use hand to hand combat over swords, but it's probably because using a sword would cause death rather than the desired effect. “Your Style, Master Hadou is definitely unique. I really like the explanation and better to knock out an opponent over killing them.” Brianna was fully engrossed in the Style’s explanation. Since it was like a teacher telling a student the proper way to implement the style, while showing it can show the process of using it. Brianna seemed insistent on paying. Not so much insistent, but more that she didn’t mind at all. Aah, to be the heiress to a trading empire. “Well, alright. I’ll pick up the tip, then.” She nodded, and told the waitress their order. Full slab of pork and beef ribs, and a large tonkatsu with extra sauce, to go between them. The young lady was certainly having a lot of fun, it must have been so different than what she was used to back at her home. Splitting a bill (even if Regan was only covering the tip) was probably something she’d never done before. “I haven’t had beef ribs in a while, most places don’t have them. Is that what I smelled from the market?” She wondered for a moment before shaking her head, taking another swig of her beer. “I’m not much for beers with strong hops in them, they’re too bitter. A mild pale ale is one thing, but some of them go waaay too strong on the hops.” Brianna seemed to definitely enjoy her alcohol, which made Regan wonder for a moment, but the thought passed. A lot of people enjoy alcohol for a wide variety of reasons. Some like the kick in the mouth, some like the buzz. Many reasons. And the poor thing lost her father not too long ago. It was good they met. Wouldn’t do to have such a distinguished, adorable young lady turn into an alcoholic. “Killing leaves a bad taste in the mouth. So, what do you like to do besides magic? You must have some hobby. Your family trades in f l o w ers, right?” She wasn’t exactly sure, but she thought that was what she heard. Honestly, she was more interested in their martial history and practices, but she could learn all about that as they continued to spend time together. This charming young lady was certainly worth spending time with. “Well, we don’t have to talk about your family trade. I’m interested in you, not them. What sets you apart from your family? From my time with my previous guild, I know my way around a kitchen quite well. I knew a little bit before that, but they really taught me how to cook well.” The food would take just a little while to bring out. She’d probably end up getting a second beer to go with her food. Or… sake. Yes, get a pitcher of hot sake. The experience of pouring for each other and sharing the gourd between them would help them bond. Brianna always enjoys a good meal, but it's much better that it's with someone else over by herself. She smiles with what Regan said. “Thanks! I am so happy that we can share a meal together.” If anything, Brianna was quite adorable and cute compared to the lecherous sword she had. However, she didn’t quite get some of Tearsy’s constant teasing because most of it went over her head anyway. Brianna was brimming with excitement to taste Beef ribs, her smile was intoxicating. “At least you can have them now, hehe. Beef Ribs are going to be wonderful when they get here.” Brianna had never had this much fun before since she was stuck at home training to wield Tearsy. She drank more of her Long Island Tea, which it was a definite sweet taste with the right mixture of alcohol. “I have to agree with you… Strong hops are definitely too bitter for my liking… but I still drink them…” Her emotions were getting the better of her, which is why she’s definitely emotional while drinking it. However, it was also coinciding with the reason she did lose her father, she sounded definitely depressed and sad. “Yeah, but sometimes it does happen. You heard me sing, right? That’s one of my many hobbies! Dancing, Singing, Gardening are my favorites but there’s so much more that one could do in a lifetime that I want to do much. My family trades in all types of flowers, but Roses are the pride and joy of the Lyffobelt Family. They also have a charity for building orphanages and other projects in Fiore to give back to the kingdom. As well, we try to trade with all the other nations of the peninsula since they absolutely love the Lyffobelt Rose, which is why our HQ is in Hargeon Town.” Brianna’s emotion changes to excitable happiness talking about her family’s business about what they sell. She absolutely loves talking about roses and her family. Better to look at the good over the bad that happened to her family. However, the important question that Master Hadou had gave her, what set her apart from her family. It was a hard question for her to answer, since her younger sister was so much better than her in every way possible. “Umm… I don’t really know… I never really thought about what sets me apart from my family. But I do suppose, beating the undefeatable Dueler, that my father was an accomplishment… I am trying to come over… my large deficiency of a… Inferiority Complex… because of how much better my little sister Serena is to me.” Brianna was frustrated in what she was saying, because it is a definite problem for her, Serena always showing her up. And being seven to eight years younger doesn’t help. “I am friendly towards everyone though.” The Sword’s voice pierced the veil of reality and sighed deeply at what Brianna said, which its voice was also in Regan’s head too. “Brianna, can you please stop bringing yourself down low. Do you remember what your father said? You have done literally the impossible. Don’t be bothered what your little sister can do compared to what you’ve accomplished. I am your birthright after all and don’t you forget it, Brianna. Not like I would want a brat to wield me like your little sister is and you are way more beautiful than she is too. I didn’t like what Serena thought to do, I don't know why the Callous Lightning Sword didn’t choose you and chose Serena of all things. Callie is so picky as fuck… I have a feeling no one in your family that the Callous Lightning Sword is also, a Sentient Sword but it doesn’t have the ability to talk to people like I have...” Tearsy’s voice telepathically spoke to Regan and Brianna at the same time. The voice was very frustrated in hearing Brianna for the uptenth time degrading herself, it is so frustrating. Tearsy doesn’t like Callous Lightning Sword at all for its picky behavior and doesn’t like how superior Serena acts towards her older sister either, minus the reason Serena is so darsh darn cute otherwise. Well, yeah. I drink what I open, too, usually, but something about how she said that- oooh… There it was. Losing a parent was normal. Maybe the circumstances were normal, but she’d get over it, she’d have to. This, however… this would follow her. Time to work her magic. Regan listened carefully. She was rather self-aware of the problem, which made things a little easier, in a certain way. She let Tearsy get her word in, filling in more information. It was good to hear more about her sister, and one important thing popped out as important. Tearsy read this sister’s mind and did not like it. Something she thought to do that would offend the sword. She couldn’t guess what that would be without more, but it was enough. She caught their waitress as she stood, bringing another chair from the empty table next to them, so she could sit next to Brianna. “Hot sake gourd for two, please. Separate tab.” She took her seat and slid her arm around the young lady, leaning her in. “Being friendly and kind is far more important than being the best at everything. You can be strong and alone, and be overcome by a rag-tag group of friends. You can have all the power and influence you want, but if you lack the compassion to see into the eyes of those under your rule, they will suffer. The way Tearsy tells it, your sister’s kind of a bitch. Sounds like her sword is, too. Wouldn’t you have true, honest friends who appreciate you for you, than have people following you for money or power? I know I would.” She gave Brianna a soft kiss on the side of her head, softly petting her hair while she spoke to her. “Don’t you think? You’re kind and sweet and compassionate and that’s good enough.” The waitress returned shortly with their gourd, and Regan filled one of the sake cups, setting it in front of Brianna, “here, now you fill mine. Don’t pour for yourself when you’re with people.” She’d wait for Brianna to fill her cup and lift it in another toast. “To the sweet, precious young lady I met today.” Brianna’s thoughts and mind were going over all these revelations that Tearsy spoke of, it was a bit too shocking for her to realize. That her family has two sentient swords instead of one and the other one chose to not allow her to wield it. All the time living in her estate was caused by a sword that refused to be wielded by her of all people. “Uhh… why didn’t you tell me this sooner?” Brianna wanted Tearsy to answer that question a bit more than usual. The Sword’s voice pierced the veil of reality and sighed a bit about not telling her sooner, but even her parents were shocked to learn the truth of the Callous Lightning Sword. “I am sorry, Brianna. I should have told you sooner, but you know how Nelia and Zachery are. They just wanted you to protect you from the truth. And they were in disbelief when I told them the Callous Lightning Sword was sentient, like they never in the long history ever learned that truth.” Tearsy’s voice telepathically spoke to both of them. Brianna did believe what Tearsy said, her parents did care about her much, it’s why both of them trained her in using the Sky Tears Sword. It took her a bit off guard, only because Regan did sit by her. In terms of what Regan said to the waitress did make the look on her face of I know what that is. Brianna was a bit taken aback by what Regan did next, by sliding her arm around her and leaning her in. She listened carefully to what Regan had to say, it hit her like a ton of bricks. “I would… rather have true, honest friends who appreciate me for myself… than for my money and power. Thankfully, I met you today…” Brianna felt Regan’s soft kiss on the side of her head and the softly petting her hair, it made her blush a bit. It was a bit embarrassing, but Regan is a very nice lady. “Yes! This is what my… father was trying to tell me all this time… but I didn’t get it… wish I had gotten it sooner.” Brianna cutely giggled for what Regan helped her with, it was a definitely nice thing. Brianna saw everything that happened next, which made her smile. “Okay!” Brianna poured the sake into Regan’s sake cup and placed it in front of Regan. She followed Regan’s lead and toasted her sake cup with Regan’s. “To the sweet nice Master Hadou I met today and to my kindness!” That’s the way. “Well, no time like the present, Brianna.” The young lady seemed to have understood something important she’d been struggling with for a long time. It was a good thing they met today. She reeled a little bit in the back of her mind at one thing, however. ‘To my kindness?’ Ooh, maybe I pumped her up too much. Haha, well, she can have it, this once. She clinked and sipped from her sake, before spying the waitress coming out with their food. “Ah, here she comes.” She replaced the chair where she got it from and sat back at her seat, settling in and eyeing the food as it came to their table. Her eyes widened a bit at the heap of meat they’d ordered. It came with sides, too. A baked potato, fries, soup, rice to go with the tonkatsu. They had a small feast all to themselves. “Another beer in a moment, please. Group tab. Aaah… a different beer. I like this one, but I like trying new ones, too. Nothing weak.” Hers was about half gone, she’d probably drink the rest of it while she was eating. “Ooh, this all looks and smell delicious.” She clapped her hands and offered thanks for the food before she started to dig in. She started by grabbing one of the half racks of beef ribs they’d gotten, first making sure she had a napkin nearby. She peeled a rib off, actually pulling the bone out before the meat came off. “Oooh, they’re tender~! Mmm, that’s the best!” She grinned, carefully separating the meat from the next bone from the rest of her half rack. The woman had quite the appetite. She'd got between the beef ribs and fries and her beer and her sake, setting the small cup aside when it was empty for Brianna to fill for her, and making sure to keep hers full, in turn. She'd leave about half of any given thing, though she was leaving the pork ribs for last. Regan swallowed most of a mouthful, "mm, I should ask," she swallowed again, the rest of it. "Are you staying somewhere? I don't have a room or anywhere to keep any leftovers, so if you've got fridge space somewhere, we can take the pork ribs with us for later. I've just been camping as I travel." She was on to her half of the kontatsu, taking each bite with some of the rice and a dip in the sauce. Brianna smiled happily, with what Regan had said and nodded to it. “Yeah, Regan. It is a new me to always be myself!” She was smiling really cutely with that. As well, she did notice Regan drank the sake, so she did it too, because it wouldn’t be a good idea to leave alcohol to waste. She smelt the lunch coming to the table, which would mean the waitress is coming. “Yay, lunch is here!” Brianna was so excited for lunch. Her eyes went similar to Regan, it was much food on the table that she didn’t know where to begin. It was definitely a wonderful lunch to have with someone you just met. “Uhh, I would like another Long Island Tea… Group tab, please.” It was mostly because hers were half gone since she was really enjoying herself with alcohol and now she had food to go with it. “I agree Regan, it looks so wonderful and delicious.” Brianna copied Regan’s movements and offered thanks as well for the food before she started to dig in. She decided to copy Regan again since she wanted to try the Beef Ribs and make sure she had a napkin too. She peeled a rib off, doing the exact thing she saw Regan do with the bones. The taste of these ribs were divine, it was so great. “I agree! Tenderly juicy! This is the first time I actually had these types of ribs and they are really good!” Brianna smiled happily and giggled slightly. She continued to eat from her half rack, which was definitely a great taste. Brianna was definitely grateful she wanted something meat related for lunch because this was a grateful experience. As well, she loved the taste of sake too, which she sat her sake cup close enough for Regan to fill hers, which she did the same for Regan’s sake cup. It is a nice thing they started with the Beef Ribs, it was a definite nicety. Brianna swallowed her sake, and giggled slightly at the feeling she was having by drinking it. “Uhh, what Regan?” It took her a minute to wonder about it until she continued with what she was saying. “Yeah, I own a house here in this town. My mother and father told me to be self-sufficient while living on my own. Got fridge space for these leftovers. Aww, you could stay at my house if you want?” Brianna was a bit straight forward and happy to help someone that helped her out much. She did like the taste of the tonkatsu, it definitely tasted good with the rice. Basically had a satisfied look on her face while eating the food here, it was wonderful. “The kontatsu, is really amazing, hehe.” “Beef ribs really are something else, mmm~! You’ve never had them before? I’m surprised.” The affluent family didn’t know about good food, hah! That was something she could certainly open the doors to, for Brianna. Al-Gin taught them well. “Well, I suppose I might have to show you around the kitchen a bit? A lot of people reheat food… aah, wrong is a strong word, but there’s usually a way to get better results.” “A whole house? I… suppose I shouldn’t be surprised.” Regan paused only briefly as she finished her share of the tonkatsu, thanking the waitress as she brought their next drinks. Ooh, that was good meat. Those beef ribs were really filling, she’d save her pork ribs for later. She started munching the rest of her share of the fries while sipping on her soup. The baked potato would reheat great, but fries were tricky. They needed to be reheated at a high temperature for a short amount of time in an oven for best results, and unless you had a small oven, it wasn’t really worth the hassle. The baked potato could be reheated more typically, and pork ribs could actually be reheated alongside it. “Aah, well, perhaps I’ll take you up on that. Depending on how the night goes. And beer is usually better cold, so the fridge will be nice.” Such a darling, inviting her to her home already. Maybe a little naive, too, but then again, she had a telepathic sword with her. You'd think she'd be able to warn Brianna of nefarious intents. "Mmm, whew. I'm stuffed." She smiled and leaned back in her chair, sipping on her beer. They'd gone through the sake, now she was going to relax with the rest of her beer. The waitress stopped by and Regan asked for to-go containers, and told her they were ready for the checks. "We'll stop by your place to drop off the leftovers and then, what, go look for something to beat up?" Those damn apes were a menace anyway. "Oh, I almost forgot…" when the waitress came back with boxes and checks, Regan asked what her first beer had been. She still wanted to pick some up after they left the restaurant. She thanked her and eyed the checks, "one second, sweetie, I've got…" she dug out the tip for the main check and slipped it into the waitress's pocket, "your tip." She exchanged smiles with the waitress before she scuttled off to another table, and she dug out the coinage for the sake, handing the main check over to Brianna. "Here's that one. Thank you." Brianna couldn’t help to be slightly embarrassed that she never tried Beef Ribs until now. “Uhh, yeah I never had them before. But my family kept me focused on a balanced plan for my martial training so I had enough energy to deal with the rigorous regime to use Tearsy.” Brianna giggles somewhat at that because it was extremely harsh of a training regime but it was fun. The experience was definitely something she wouldn’t want to trade for the world. “I would like that much. I had a large staff of people working for my family to cook the meals we had, mother paid them really well… but I am not living at my family’s estate anymore… It’s a bit embarrassing honestly.” She blushed at the whole ordeal of not really understanding much about all the kitchen stuff she has in her kitchen at her home. However, she doesn’t burn water thankfully. “Oh, I know how to at least boil water… had to practice a lot… to get that right without making it catch fire.” Brianna giggles slightly and is a bit embarrassed by that too. “It is a wonderfully cute, two story house in this town.” Brianna also finished her share of the tonkatsu, happy to see another Long Island Tea in front of her and thanking the waitress. The meat was wonderful. Brianna’s beef ribs were really filling, she should save her pork ribs for later. She finished her share of fries while sipping on her soup. Brianna didn’t know how difficult it would be to reheat fries but since Regan was eating hers, it would be better to have them no longer there but in her stomach. “Hehe, nice. Hopefully it goes wonderfully. Yeah, fridges are definitely useful in that… hehe.” Brianna was happy to hear Regan was going to take her up on her offer of staying at her home. Regan was the first person that Tearsy actually allowed her to invite to her house since her favorite weapon wasn’t sounding the alarm bells of anything nefarious. If anything, if it wasn’t for Regan she wouldn’t have gotten the lesson her father was trying to get through to her. “Yes… I’m stuffed too.” She smiled and giggled slightly, with a cute little hiccup. The Sake and the Long Island Teas were great. Thankfully they finished the sake together. But she was going to relax by slowly drinking the Long Island Tea that’s in front of her. As such, this would be a really good memory to have in her mind for all time. “Hehe, yeah.. Hmm… Oh yeah, I do need to show off the Shifting Sword Style and the other thing I have too. And beating up those creepy monkeys will be a good idea.” Brianna is still creeped out by those Vulcans. “I want a regular sweet tea to go, please?” Brianna didn’t want to be absolutely smashed while trying to fight a creepy monkey. She can always get smashed later anyway, after beating up a Vulcan with her own style of sword magic. Regan handed her the main check, which she smiled happily at. “Here you go Waitress! Your service was wonderful.” Brianna happily and wonderfully paid the main check since it's always better to pay than run away. One of her lessons in how to properly be a customer for a restaurant, which she took to heart. "Wh-wha…" Brianna admitted to catching water on fire. Regan's mind stopped hard, trying to come to terms with something she didn't really know was possible. Somewhere, far away, for an unknown reason, Al-Gin Garama Daroon had a passing moment of distress. After a few breaths and a healthy gulp of her beer, her brain rebooted, and she tempered herself as she looked at Brianna, "you… you burned… water?" Wha… how!? With their bills paid and their drinks drank, Regan stood and changed her focus. "A-anyway, let's go find that good beer and put our leftovers away." There was much for Brianna to learn about the kitchen, apparently. She carried their two boxes, with the ribs and the potato, and led the way from the outside dining area. She was still reeling a bit, but searching the market for the liquor store might help her regain her balance. She let Brianna catch up to her side, though she had to wonder which way would be best. "Is there a liquor store you prefer to go to? Ah, I should have asked if the brewer was local or not… it'd be better if we could get it right from them." All those merchants she's saved have taught her a thing or two. As she recovered her senses, Regan offered Brianna her arm again, and sooner or later they found the store they were looking for. Master Hadou would open the door for her and let her lead the way in, and she'd ask the shopkeep about the brew she was looking for. Luckily for her, they had it, and she picked out a twelve pack to share with Brianna. Six-packs always went so quick with two people. "Anything you want, Brianna?" Brianna had a cute little smile on her face and giggled slightly. “Yes? What happened...” She had no real idea why Regan went all weird like she had a slight stroke of what Brianna said. Brianna was better at fighting with her sword style over focusing on cooking, but she is on her own now. Probably the real reason why Regan had to recover her senses. “Yes, I did… Uhh, thankfully I wasn’t injured I suppose… probably put in the wrong item into the water to cause it to catch fire.” Brianna giggled slightly, but she stood up and had a happy smile on her face, like she was always super positive. “Yeah, that’s a good idea! That beer was wonderful.” Brianna knew she had much to learn about the kitchen. Affluent family didn’t teach her much about those simple things like cooking a meal by yourself. She followed Regan, while she was drinking on the sweet tea she got to go, which she paid for it. Brianna couldn’t really help but be really happy and excited for this chance meeting, Regan was really helpful after all. She caught up to Regan and smiled. “Uhh, there is one I like to go to. Should have it’s a wonderful beer to drink, after all. But the one I go to only sells… the bitter hops type of beers.” However, the one she likes going to usually have the more bitter tasting hops type of beers. Brianna was happy that Regan offered her arm again, which she took and giggled cutely, which they found at the store that sells the beer that they had at the Barbeque shop. Regan opens the door and Brianna follows into the liquor store and looks at all the selection. It took her a bit to think about what she would want, then remembers when Regan asks her. “Uhh, a Lager or Red Ale is what I sometimes get or drink by myself… But since you are here, it would be lovely to get more than just a singular thingy. Since you did get that twelve pack.” Brianna knew sharing is the best policy, which is why she wanted to share the Lager with Regan too. Six packs are so little of the alcohol you want to enjoy. In terms, she did find the lager and paid for it and was definitely happy, at least she had it in a bag, and was still holding onto Regan’s arm afterward.

Regan Hadou Silverbranch Glade
Regan raised an eyebrow at Bullet as he came out, her lips curling just slightly, "You don't hunt or anything, do you? You reek of sweat and smoke and-" the tang of iron? Now that he's closer, "blood?" He was certainly presentable, for someone speaking like he belonged here. Maybe he did. No matter. The delightful young lady approached to inspect her ever so curiously. Herself, she checked the security strap on her katana's sheath was done and secure. She shook her head at the girl's question, indeed unaware that she was anywhere in particular. Master Hadou was learning a lot today, and not least of which is that she found an old witch's coven! Zhulie's companion snapped her back up, cutting her lesson short and Regan held up her hands. "Whoa, there, don't worry. Even if you were still a witch's coven, it wouldn't concern me. Not anymore, and I dunno if the Electrician's Guild would pay for witches anyway. I'm not a bounty hunter anymore, though, so you can relax. I'm just a cook." A mage-cook, but a cook. Zhulie was quick to override any suggestion or implication Bullet made of Regan being sent away. Just as well, this would help them make a good impression on her. If it were someone else, they might get the idea to report this 'Coven with a flimsy cover', they might call it. She was more than willing to put in a good word for good folk. At the mention of food, however, Regan's interest was piqued, "ah, I would love the chance to learn about new cuisine!" The previous thing took her arm and started to lead the way back to her Guild... Hall? She didn't know what to expect, she looked forward to learning about them. She chose to take Zhulie's lead and ignore Bullet. The girl had mentioned the necessity of taking a break, and she couldn't help but think of her recent stop in Magnolia. That pervy sword... Why did telepaths always have to be such a bother? "Aren't you just a darling girl, Zhulie. I'm sure ol' Bullet over there is just trying to look out for ya, too. "So, Zhulie, are you officially a member of your guild yet? I know some guilds don't let you in officially until you're so old or whatnot, though others don't really care." As well, she took a look around for those lanterns that Bullet had mentioned. She'd seen a lot of different lantern styles in her travels, so she wondered what they'd look like here. "So, your guild. If it used to be a witch's coven, what's it like now? Is it… not a Coven anymore?" She was simply curious. Even if they were a guild, it could just be a front. She wasn't about to tell these fine people their business, however. If the girl was the example to take, these folks were welcoming and kind, and that's about as hard as she'd look at them. She glanced at Bullet, "I suppose you have reason to be... Weary. But, please. I mean no trouble." [@Cello]
