Something to keep the stupid ass button-up from constricting her so much. Stephanie is strictly team stocking, however, since her legs get cold somewhat easily.
[color=cc2b5e]Casual Clothing:[/color] Any old boomer would clutch their pearls and scream bloody murder if they saw how Stephanie dressed. For starters, there is a LOT of black. Her wardrobe consists of a lot of metal related wear, like t-shirts and hoodies. However, Stephanie is also in possession of other articles of clothing such as crop tops and plenty of ripped jeans.

[indent]Being unwanted is the unfortunate theme of Stephanie's life. Stephanie's mother died shortly after giving birth to her due to complications resulting from her birth, leaving her and her father by themselves as she grew up in a small apartment in East San Jose. Stephanie didn't understand why she didn't have a mom like the other kids at school, and she was sometimes teased for not having one. Throughout her early years, she would always be envious of how her peers were able to interact with their mothers while she didn't have one period. 

Things didn't get much better for Stephanie as she got older, with her father eventually marrying her current stepmother, Evelyn. Evelyn wasn't too keen on the idea of Stephanie's presence, but she had money and at least had the courtesy to take her in along with her new husband. It became apparent that Stephanie was an afterthought to Evelyn. Her father tried everything he could to make sure that she still felt loved, but with two more half-siblings coming in, the amount of parental attention she received dwindled with every day that passed. 

Stephanie turned to music to compensate for the lack of warmth in her life. Sure, she had a roof over her head and she lived a comfortable life, but there was still a gaping hole in her heart that continued to grow larger with every day that passed. Shortly after graduating from middle school, Stephanie was told that she would be sent to boarding school. Her father and stepmom claimed it was so that Stephanie could get the best education possible, but she knew that the real reason was so that her parents could focus more on the other kids that they had to take care of.

[indent]Stephanie is more afraid of being hurt than anything else. The amount of rejection and overall feeling of unwanted in her life was more than enough for Stephanie to decide that she didn't want to be hurt anymore. On the flip side, she holds onto those who are somehow close to her incredibly hard, with a vice grip, even. There's not much more loss Stephanie wants to tolerate, and she wants to make sure she can mitigate it wherever she can.
