[@ERode] Magitech depending on location. The Age of Splendor saw the creation of all kinds of magic technology, but a lot of that has been lost to time. Some city-states have reclaimed more of that knowledge than others, but it's still a rarity in places like Arskel. One of the most advanced and well known forms are Sky-Skiffs, small ships that can ride along the leylines.

Edit: Magitech falls into the realm of magic items, which are typically policed. People who have or use them without seeking a permit usually don't flaunt it, but you can get that sort of permission with guild membership.
