Eye Color: Brown School Uniform: Rosalie sticks to the mandated school uniform, but loves to accessorize and add her own flair to the outfit. She mainly does so through various hairstyles and hair items like clips, hats, and barrettes, but she also from time to time adds pops of color through jewelry and pins on her jacket. It's common practice for her to have rips in her tights (maybe it's from wearing them during shows and ruining them, but who knows) so she tends to lean more towards the knee high socks. Casual Clothing: Rosalie is definitely someone with an artsy and colorful wardrobe- from funky jeans, to vintage and statement shirts, she knows how to impress and stand out from the crowd through the clothes she wears. She never misses an opportunity to dress up for the occasion, and will often even opt to wear dresses and skirts even when everyone else is wearing sweatpants. She can definitely be a little extra... She's the type of gal to go on a long drive just so she can sing to show tunes at the top of her lungs, make up an excuse to talk about her favorite actresses and actors, and is hoping to get the most likely to be famous superlative in the senior yearbook. Although she talks a big talk, she has the acting and singing chops to back her up. Witty and comedic, she never misses an opportunity to make light of a sticky situation or throw in a sarcastic line to make someone laugh. Her sense of humor can sometimes be a little dark (she jokes about her parents divorce probably more than any normal person should), but that's all to say that she's not one to take life too seriously. However, aside from her flair for dramatics through her involvement in theater, Rosalie is very grounded, sensible, and honest. She's the first person to help you analyze if a decision is really good or just rash, and is the calming voice of reason for most of her friends.

____________________________________________________________
| | H I S T O R Y | |
Rosalie Owens was dramatic from the moment she was born. She had the loudest cry and the strongest lungs that the hospital had ever seen for a baby of her size, not to mention she was born three weeks early and made quite the surprise entrance. Raised in New York City by a Filipina mother and a British father, the dark haired girl grew up with the hustle and bustle of Manhattan as her backyard. Her parents were star-crossed lovers from two completely different worlds, having met in a hostel while they backpacked separately around Asia. They fell for each other hard and ditched their own sightseeing plans to instead continue their travels abroad together. After returning from their escapades on the other side of the world, they quickly got engaged realizing they couldn't live without each other. Their friends said they were crazy- it was too rushed and too quick to know it was love- but they didn't heed those warnings and got married anyway. When Rosalie was born, the pieces seemed to fit into place perfectly. The three of them made for a happy family in the city, galavanting through Central Park when the weather was nice, eating at the best restaurants, and taking in shows on Broadway. It was the latter that made the largest impact on the dark haired girl. Seeing Mamma Mia with her parents was an important moment for her as it was the show that piqued her interest in theater and fueled her passion. And over the years, it was a passion that sheltered her from a lot of the hardship that her family began to face as time went on. Unfortunately for the girl, her parent's friends were right- their relationship and marriage grew strained quickly without a strong base and it seemed that Rosalie was the only thing that was keeping them together. The arguing was constant- from first thing in the morning before she woke up for school, to when she was at play rehearsal, to even after she went to sleep at night. Show tunes and her scripts were her only solace during this time to tune out the yelling and she consumed herself in the lights and sounds of Broadway. It was not a surprise in the slightest when Rosalie's parents sat her down the Summer before her Freshman year of High School and explained that they would be getting a divorce. A difficult decision for their daughter's well being, but an easy one for the best interests of everyone involved. In order to further shield their daughter from what they knew would be a nasty legal battle, they enrolled her at Marble Heights Academy, which would be a consistent and controlled environment amongst the many changes occurring in their household. Knowing that extended family was located in the Bay Area made the choice to send her across the country easy, and Rosalie agreed that this was the best course of action for them all. As much as she missed the bright lights of NYC when she started at Marble Heights, the dark haired girl quickly fell in love with her new home on the West Coast, so much so that she's rarely gone home to Manhattan to visit. The California vibes were impeccable and exactly what she needed to bounce back after the gloom and doom of her parent's shrinking apartment. She still dreams big Broadway dreams and is looking forward to applying to conservatory style musical theatre programs at the beginning of next year, but for now, Rosalie is an artistic butterfly who just wants to spread her wings. Oh, and win a Jimmy Award before she graduates MHA, that too. Because of this, she has some trust issues and is afraid the same thing will happen with her future relationships, whether they are platonic or romantic.

____________________________________________________________
| | E X T R A C U R R I C U L A R A C T I V I T I E S | |

She auditions for all of the shows at Marble Heights, especially the musicals.
