Name: Aloy Game Origin: Horizon Dawn Zero/HZD: Frozen Wilds/Horizon Zero Dawn: Forbidden West Appearance: Personality: Raised a outcast by her father figure and mentor Rost, after finding her in a mountain all alone. The tribe shunned Rost and Aloy because of their status. Outcasts are supposed to have no contact with the tribe. But that didn't hide Aloy's more curious nature. That curiosity only peaked when she collided with Rost's strict traditions of staying a outcast and nothing more. But that changed when Aloy fell into the old one's machine area and she got lost eventually finding the Focus. She started to learn about the old ones, Project Zero Dawn and technology as time goes on. She verges on the edge of sarcastic and blunt and is rather disobedient at times. She hates it when others try to show they are better than someone else, and she is rather impatient and has no time for those who try to dodge her questions or answers. Aloy is compassionate and sympathetic towards others in need, particularly towards those who are still outcasts. Her benevolence is her greatest strength and has gained her a lot of good friends and allies. Background: A clone of the late scientific genius, Dr. Elizabeth Sorbet, Aloy’s birth was a pure mystery. She was found inside of a mountain not sure who her real parents were. A tribe named the Nora went into the strange mountain and found Aloy, Rost a tribe outcast instantly taking her in as one of his own daughters. As a child, Aloy had a hard time within her own tribe. Many children and their parents rejected playing with her because Rost was a tribe outcast meaning Aloy would take on that role as a tribe outcast. She is forbidden from stepping into certain areas of the tribe but she is naturally curious about her past and so many unanswered questions. She finds out about the “Proving” where not only can she erase her “outcast” standing but allow her to go outside her tribe area. Rost trains her in everything he knows so that Aloy can learn the skills needed to survive out in the woods and hunt machines. She then proves herself worthy and wins the proving, allowing her to go on dangerous missions outside the tribe’s walls. Once she learns more about her parents, the machine on her her ear is a small earpiece called a “Focus” that allows her to communicate with others with Focuses, find out information about new technology and people and she meets some new friends and enemies as she goes. She meets Sylvens, on occasion they kind of irritate each other and at one point, Sylvens called her a “spoiled child” Aloy has to suck things up when Rost dies and work with her “tribe” to protect the other tribes. During a machine hunt, Aloy finds out the truth of GAIA and HADES and what Project Zero Dawn really is. To make matters worse, something else had come up during her battle with the machines. In the "reset" of the world, there was a complete whiteout of the world which made Aloy slip off her mechanical horse and fall unconscious. By the time she woke up, she was alone without her allies or friends to help her. Specialty: Aloy is great with a bow and arrow, her Focus and her other weapons. Level: 1 Experience: 0/10 Strengths: Strength/Endurance: Aloy is a woman who has the build of an athletic person who regularly exercises. She is also strong enough to hold and lift heavy machine weapons. She also has superhuman endurance. She can take on large machines for a long time and evade them until destroying them. *Master Archer: Aloy is great with a bow and arrow since she was trained exclusively by Rost. Crafter: Aloy has machine knowledge and combines materials salvaged from them with natural materials in order to make tools and ammo. Weaknesses: Not too good with People- It’s hard to get along with others when you’ve been shunned for most of your life. Corruptible: A machines “darkness” attack can still hurt Aloy if she steps near or close to it. Power: Focus- The Focus is Aloy's technological pocket device that allows her to record various equipment names, new ally and enemy names and namely enemy weak points. Takes the shape of a small triangle shape attached to Aloy's ear. It also serves as a communicator to others as well. Spirits: None Kindred Spirits: Rost- Aloy's trusted mentor and father figure who trained Aloy everything she needed to know before the "Proving". Erend Vanguardsman- One of Aloy's many trusted allies during her battles against HADES, Erend was a captain of the Oseram Sun King's Vansguardmen. Sylven- Aloy's ally (at least temporary).
