[@BangoSkank] My friends got me to try the beginning of DS3 not knowing I'd played DS1, so they were surprised that I didn't die at all in the fight against the guy with the sword stuck in him.

One friend was a little pissed I didn't die. I told them it's all in the way you approach playing the game.
