This is the King's land.[/sub]

[sub]Occupying approximately twenty percent of the known Verse is no small feat, though it is one Adath somehow managed to pull off, despite no conquest having ever actually happened. At least according to recorded memory anyway. In any case, the borders of Menorath are exceedingly large, and not only span across physical space, but higher dimensions, planes, and even the surreal landscape that connects them as well. Each of these territories if you will, are further divided into twelve different sectors, all of which are centered around a single Megaworld. The Megaworlds themselves expand at a near-constant rate, going so far as to stretch their metallic forms into other dimensions and planes of existence in the surrounding area to accommodate an ever increasing population. Menorath as a whole is still massively large despite this, with many of its principalities still managing to fall just outside the periphery of these technological behemoths, though they remain firmly within the Sorcerer King's grasp. Finally, for some unknown reason, the empire—as it's referred to colloquially by its many inhabitants—cannot be physically conquered. It is not known by what dark power Adath has managed this feat, or if he even did, but no matter the effort no part of Menorath can truly fall into enemy hands without his express consent. Something he does not, and probably will not, give. The collective culture of the empire on the other hand, is a much easier thing to describe, although it becomes quite muddled when one gets into specifics as is to be expected. At its simplest level, the culture of the empire can be described as a vast yet strangely uniform melting pot, mainly because of all the people it involves. There are many groups who have their own distinct styles of dress or food for instance, though this is all undercut by their shared servitude beneath Adath, with those who deviate from this undercurrent of service facing instant annihilation. In other words, one may have culture, provided it does not interfere with one's service. [/sub]
