There is not much known about the Electic lifestyle, as they clearly prefer not to mingle with those outside of their own species. Though a few have been spotted living a nomadic life, most are believed to reside in large colonies in densely forested, cooler areas. Description: Generally a little larger in height to a human, about 2.5 meters (8 feet) while upright. Mostly scaled, with some plumage around the neck and breast. Parrot-shaped beak instead of any standard Dragon mouth type (It is said, but with no apparent proof at all, that their bite is the most powerful of all living creatures). They were sometimes confused with griffon in days of old. Reproduction and mating: Unknown. Communication: Unknown. Most just assume that they squawk like a parrot. Behaviour: Unknown. Traits: Though there is no hard evidence, again, and though it is probable that the belief is based solely on the fact they are rarely seen, it is said that Electic are extremely lazy, most of them preferring to remain perched all day, only moving around to eat or find an even more comfortable place to sleep. Abilities: Unknown. (incomplete)

ARIST About: It is believed by the Hokumtapaya Clan, though refuted by the À la Stan Clan, that the Arist are the most elite of all dragons. Regardless of the controversy between clans, the Arist are known to be one of the most feared and revered of dragon species, renowned for their esteemed intelligence, exceptional magical abilities and physical prowess. They are however less common than many other dragon species, and were believed to be extinct for many years post the Arkath war. They are said to be omnivorous, though some theologians believe their diet consists mostly of fish and fruit. Unlike many dragon species, Arist are semiaquatic, and although not much is known about how much of their lives are spent in water, it is moreover agreed upon that Arist prefer high altitude forested regions. Description: Arist’s have been reported to grow to more than 15 meters (50 feet) in length and can stand up to 5 meters (16 feet) at the fore shoulders. They have 7 main extremities: tail, four legs and a set of wings (the front feet double as hands with opposable talon grips). Their epidermis is composed of thick skin and scales with no plumage or fur, and various horns and ridges are displayed about their head, legs, torso and the end of the tail. Although the natural delinquent colouring of their epidermis ranges from deep-grey to hues of violet, blue and green, the full spectrum has no known limits and can vary, at will or spontaneously, to adapt to influences such as mood and camouflage. Reproduction and Mating: Oviparous. Debated among the Dinotapaya and À la Stan clans for many centuries, it was more recently agreed upon that Arist are Hermaphrodite trans-sexual, able to change between what could be more than two genders, male and female being the more dominant of the possible variations. On account of being Hermaphrodites, a mate is preferred but not essential for multiplying. It is also believed that water is essential in the reproduction and nesting of the species. Communications: Arist are believed to have the highest count of communication types, such as generic speech, Base (the telekinetic manipulation of vibrations), telepathy, Medium Sensory (communicating with the dead and alternate dimensions), Pheromone Toning (refining and mimicking pheromones for the sake of luring partners, prey and other life), Mist (the manipulation of air molecules and gaseous matter to form imagery), and Tell (also known as Panlamin. The wilful or spontaneous act of changing colour to match a mood). Traits: 1) Metallic scales. Well known is that the Arist scales have a metallic/silicone base, harder than other metallic mineral types, yet much lighter in weight and less rigid, which adds to their prowess and physical integrity. Unfortunately, this has led the Arist being hunted for the gold that could be made from their hide and the production of superior weapons. Their blood was also sought for magical and chemical effects. 2) Metaltite Horns. Horns that protrude from various areas about the head and face, made from a strong and sensitive metallic type bone that can pick up the slightest vibration from very far away. 3) Envenom. The release of a poisonous gas from sacks within the nasal passage, not harmful to dragons and a handful of animals. Abilities: While abilities of the Arist are quite vast and complex, some of the more common and basic are 1) Camouflage 2) Elemental Breath. To breathe/exhale elements from the throat. The range of elements for the Arist species is vast. 3) It is speculated that Arist are shapeshifters of the highest calibre, and can take on the form of any object or organism, including human. 4) Reform. A burst of energy that influences the emotional state of life, and can alter the form of matter. 5) Shift. A telepathic energy that can alter the emotional state of life. 6) Luminescence. Willful and controlled illumination of their epidermis or a selected portion of it. 7) Teleportation. Range unknown. 8) Transension. The ability to pass through solid objects. 9) Oscillation. To concentrate a telekinetic induced vibration upon a subject in order to cause it to disassemble, break apart, or explode. Range unknown. (incomplete)

GALLANT About: Possibly the least revered of all dragon species. Unlike the name would suggest, the Gallant species are not honourable or gallant. They are basically considered a generic species with no remarkable intelligence or skill sets, but they are likely the most brutish of all the dragons with a formidable physical size and rows of serrated carnivorous teeth to compliment that nature. They can be found in various climates and habitats and have a carnivorous diet consisting mostly of medium to large size animals. Lifespan of up to 100 years. Description: Wyverns. Usually around 9 meters (30 feet) in length, the males being larger. Their bodies are mostly scaled with patches of thick leather beneath the wings and underbelly. Reproduction and Mating: Oviparous. Mating is achieved mostly in swamps or other damp areas. A female Gallant will lay up to 9 eggs at a time. Eggs must be fertilized prior to one week before laying or they will not hatch. Communication: Vocal with limited language skills. Though some say they also have a generic telepathic sensory connection with relatives of the same species. Behaviour: Mostly live in small groups or transient pairings. No intimate connections have been witnessed among the species. Traits: Like eagles and other birds of prey, Gallant’s have extraordinary sight, and although many dragons can see in the dark, Gallant’s have exceptional night vision, so acute that some argue that they are unaware of night and shadows. Abilities: Elemental breath (ordinarily limited to fire or ice). (incomplete)

POKPE About: The Pokpe, or Dragonella - maybe only on account of its size - was not recognised as a dragon species until after the war of Arkath. There are some traditionalist who continue to see them as no more than insects. Pokpe have been witness in various habitats, including marsh, swamp, forest and jungle. They have rarely been spotted in open fields or bushland. Although it amazed many to find out that Pokpe devour their dead as part of some variety of ritualistic tradition, most of their diet consists of vegetation such as nuts and leaves, but they also commonly indulge in the consumption of small insects and animals. Some documented accounts claim that massive hordes of Pokpe have been seen feeding on large animal carcasses. It has not been determines whether these same animals were killed by the Pokpe, or if the Pokpe were simply acting opportunistically. Pokpe are believed to live no more than 60 years. Description: The majority of Pokpe are no more than 3cm (1.2 inches), though on occasion can reach the size of a small finger, roughly 5cm (2 inches). Their tails make up a little more than half their total length, and are thin and wiry and tipped with a sting that can produce a toxin strong enough to kill a large animal. Their bodies are slightly thicker, though extremely agile, with 10 limbs; three sets of legs and two sets of wings. Their heads are roughly the size of a peppercorn, slightly elongated, with 6 pinpoint eyes, fanged mouth, a single nostril, and a film of fine amber hair over their cheeks and jawline. Pokpe boast a range of colours, most of them being varied shades of blue, green and purple, and although females are considerably brighter, all of them have a darker base colour broken up by stripes of a lighter shade. No two Pokpe stripe patterns are the same, giving each individual their own unique visual identity. Reproduction and Mating: Oviparous. Eggs are fertilized before being laid in moist sand by a body of water where the male will protect the nest, often using plasma silk (see abilities) to provide shelter until the eggs have hatched. Up to 30 eggs can be laid in a single clutch. Communication: On the most part their language is telepathic, though rudimentary communications are often conveyed through various tones of buzzing created by the vibration of their wings and tail. Traits: For the Pokpe, hearing, touch, sound and sight are extremely sensitive. Due to the spacing of their 6 eyes, they have a 360 degree field of vision, and while their hearing is extremely acute, the fine hair on their cheeks and jawline, as well as follicles on all six of their feet, serve as an additional sense that can detect the slightest vibration across great distances. Abilities: In the same way that spider extrude silk webbing, the Pokpe produces a plasma-based silk from a similar organ to a spinneret. This plasma silk, when produced at the correct density, can refract light, and is commonly woven in this manner to create a temporary cocoon-style shelter that provides a pocket of invisibility. (incomplete)

ARISVELLA About: Widely recognised for their passive disposition and documented by Hokumtapaya to be the most intelligent of all dragon species. Prefers regular seasonal changes. Rarely seen in regions of overall extreme temperatures. Diet consists of fruit and fish and a small selection of vegetables. Life Expectancy is 300 years. Description: On account of their similar appearance, Arisvella were originally mistaken by humans to be infant Arist. Ordinarily, Arisvella are full grown at age 10 and about the size of a large dog, though some have been recorded at twice that size. Reproduction and Mating: Monogamous. Oviparous. Subterranean nesting. 2 to 6 eggs in a clutch. Incubation period of up to 1 year. Hatchlings from a single clutch will remain in a close family unit with both male and female parents for the first 2 years, at which point the parents temporarily separate so that the hatchlings continue being raised by their respective same-sex parent until the age of 6, after which an Arisvella is considered independent. The reuniting of parents/couples and further mating is not done until all offspring from one clutch have become independent. Most Arisvella achieve sexual maturity at the age of 10. Communication: Telepathic. Empathic. Vocal, generic speech. Behaviour: 1) Hibernation for a few weeks each year, but otherwise - though capable of it - do not need sleep. Despite their typically relaxed behaviour on the ground, they are possibly the fastest airborne dragon, reaching speeds of up to 700 km/h. Traits: 1) Like Arist, Arisvella have rear webbed feet and gills in front of their wing joins for ease of movement and breathing underwater. 2) Two Stomachs. One main for the standard food digestion process. The second does not lead into the main food digestion tract, but instead has two other purposes, one being the storage of food for later use, the other being for the production of Ishi, an extremely potent mind altering substance with similar effects to alcohol. The production of Ishi is selective, not automatic. In the case that production is chosen, the Arisvella induces the production of a special digestive enzyme in the stomach that blends with certain proteins in the food to produce ishi. After production of ishi is complete, it can be regurgitated and swallowed into the main stomach for digestion, continue to be stored, or be vomited for various other uses. Swallowing too much ishi into the main stomach can result in overdosing or death, and has been known, in cases of extreme destress - to be used for the purpose of suicide. The food properties left over and not used in the processing of ishi can be regurgitated and swallowed again into the main stomach for standard digestion. Abilities: 1) Luminescence. Wilful and controlled illumination of their epidermis or a selected portion of it. 2) Teleportation. Jumping distances restricted to visual range. 3) Elemental breath. Normally fire, ice, anaesthetic gas or electricity. 4) Transform. Can take on the form of any biological entity that has been made contact with. (incomplete)

RODUNE About: One of the few dragons that thrive in the desert, Rodune do not have a known limit to their life expectancy. Their diet consists of desert fruits as well as desert rodents and insect. Sand is often consumed, but the reason for this is yet to be understood by humans. Description: Scales. Females are larger and stronger than males. Males grow to 4 meters (13 feet) in full length (tail included), and up to 2 meters (6.5 feet) in height (average head height). Females can grow up to twice the size of a male. Rodune are Cream-coloured with varied patterns of brown and purple markings. They have a broad serpent-style head with a large horn above each of the two eyes, and a forked tongue. Long body like a monitor, covered in spikes (like the Australian Thorny Devil), with three sets of legs, its forefeet are designed for digging. They have an additional set of arms with large, serrated grasping pincers. Two sets of wings, similar in appearance to wings of a bat, the front set slightly larger than the rear. Tail three times the length of the body, sparsely horned, but forked from about half way. Each of the two tail prongs are tipped with either a poisonous stinger, like that of a scorpion, or a spiral of long, thin spikes. Though it is normal for Rodune to have one or the other on both tips, they will often have both. Reproduction and Mating: Viviparous. 1 to 3 offspring. Non-monogamous, non-dyadic. The male will seek out any female, usually the closest one, to mate with, and the female will rarely reject a male unless already pregnant or has an infant in her care - in which case the male will not approach. Once the female is impregnated the male will leave her. Although Rodune are not relationship inclined and have a highly transient mating practice, a mother Rodune is one of the most protective and nurturing of all dragons. Pregnancy normally lasts 6 months, and during that time the mother will stockpile food in her den in preparation for her offspring. Once born, the mother will keep her young at close quarters within her den (cave or hollow) until the infants are 2, half grown but ready to head out on their own. Any trespassers that pass within approximately 50 meters of the den will be quickly killed and needlessly mutilated, other Rodune included. Communication: Rudimentary telepathy (no more than base-level suggestions and instinctual messages). Rodune have an audible but very extensive and detailed language based on clicking sounds produced by a combination of their pincers and mouths. When preparing to mate, there is no audible communication, all communication then made by way of pheromone impulses. Behaviour: Hostile. Rodune are nomadic and completely independent. Once they leave the nest at the age of 2, they are on their own without any known exception besides the brief sexual interacts and nesting with offspring. Obtaining food is more often than not opportunistic. Rodune are renowned for their grudge holding, relentless in their pursuit of an enemy, and will go out of their way - and even against their nature - to hunt down any creature that harmed them in any way. Traits: 1) Rodune rarely drink - not only a limited water supply issue - as there are 4 glans (resembling sponges in appearance), 2 on either side of the base of their neck, that collect moisture from the air and distribute it directly to the bloodstream to prevent dehydration. 2) The horns and many of the scales on a Rodune are composed of a unique material that serves as a type of regulator for temperature control. Since Rodune are highly unapproachable at the best of times, carcasses are scavenged by humans for their horns and scales, which are treated and then turned into clothing items like hats, shoes and general garments that provide unequalled protection from the suns heat and insulation from the cold. Rodune Hydration glans are also harvested and used - when attached to a container of some type - as a portable water collector for travellers with animal assistance. Abilities: 1) Teleportation. Like with Arisvella, distance is restricted to visual range. 2) Oscillation. To concentrate a telepathically induced vibration upon a subject in order to cause it to disassemble, break apart, or explode. Range varies for each Rodune, but is normally only properly effective within 10 to 12 meters (30 - 40 feet). 3) Camouflage. While finding it easier to align themselves with earth colours and textures like sand and stone – their camouflage not as highly tuned as Arist and some other dragons - the Rodune camouflage allows them to wait undetected by most enemies and unsuspecting prey in the desert. (incomplete)

RATTIS About: The most opportunistic of all dragons, rattis are rodent-size omnivorous scavengers with limited flight capacity and live in large groups, thriving in almost any environment or habitat as long as a steady source of food is available. Life expectancy variable but much shorter than most dragon species. Description: Two sets of legs and a short stump-like tail. The Rattis has batlike ears, wiry whiskers, and their eyes are located on the side of the head, bulging, and with large pupils for full radius vision. Though the rattis are usually scaled with velvet-like pelts about their extremities, their many physical variations are undefined, as being the most adaptive of all dragon species allows their physiological state to conform almost immediately to environmental change. Rattis also have a single set of disproportionate-size wings that limits their flying to short distances and gliding, similar in efficiency to a chicken. Reproduction and Mating: Oviparous. Non-monogamous. Being the most promiscuous and indiscrete of all Dragons, rattis show no discernible discrimination in choosing a partner or any moral standards in sexual conduct, and will frequently partake in orgiastic activities that can often escalate into a sexual frenzy that involves the entire community. While a female may lay up to 100 eggs in a single clutch, and although the fertilisation rate in the species is extremely low, little to no care is given to where a clutch is laid, and neither will the eggs be provided any maternal nurturing or protection, all of which ordinarily resulting in a very small percentage of rattis surviving the incubation period. Those that do however make it to the stage of hatchlings are matured enough to fend for themselves within the community. Communication: Honking, much like geese. Behaviour: Communal, of no known population limit. Self-indulgent, living centred on food and sex. Traits: Night vision. Superior olfactory. Abilities: 1) Can release a pungent odour from a gland above their anal passage to ward off potential predators. 2) Can spray its victim with a pungent chemical from a hole on the bridge of their nose. (incomplete)

AQUADON, AKA WATER DRAGON About: An extremely elegant creature that spends most of its life in water. Diet consists of aquatic vegetation. Life expectancy is believed to be beyond several hundred years. Description: Likely the most beautiful of all Dragons, Aquadon grow anywhere from .5 to 10 meters (2 - 32 feet) in length. They are decorated in various patterns of translucent hues of turquoise, grey’s, purple’s and blue’s. 4 sets of wings (similar shape to the pectoral fins of a lionfish) that also serve as fins. A large, spiked and retractable neural spine sail that extends for more than half the length of its back. Two sets of legs with webbed rear feet and front grasping webbed hands, though the webs are retractable for more efficient terrain manoeuvrability. 3 small black sensory pads - 3 sizes - on either side of their head that serve as ears. Along both sides of the lower half of the neck are many small cherry-pink glans (though some vary in colour) resembling decorative elongated spots that filter oxygen from water like gills. Large bulging egg-shape eyes that are covered in a film that has a rainbow polaroid sheen. Reproduction and Mating: The Aquadon are very discrete in their mating practices, leaving very little to be known about it. They have no noted genders and are not Oviparous or Viviparous, as they have no apparent conventional sex organs or reproductive system. It is said, though only through limited and alleged eyewitness accounts, that an offspring will form on the soft leathery hide of an Aquadon’s underbelly much like a growth, and then separate from the parent when properly formed, a process that is completed in only a few minutes after mating. Other seemingly less reliable sources say that when two Aquadon unite in mating they are engulfed in a blinding white light for several seconds and, once the act of mating is complete and the light fades, there are then three Aquadon. Communication: High level telepathy. Vocalisations include many forms of sounds that are the same as a broad range of aquatic and terrestrial life. It is believed that Aquadon can communicate quite fluently with most, if not all, types of aquatic and terrestrial animals. It is also believed that Aquadon’s are hyper-polyglot and can easily communicate in any language after only hearing a few words. Behaviour: Secretive. Shy toward most humans. Though amphibious, Aquadon spend most of their time in water grazing on plant life and interacting playfully with other animals. Aquadon are often referred to as Dragon Guardians, as they are frequently seen protecting other life forms from harm. There is very little else known about their social life. Traits: 1) Will spontaneously vanish for variable amounts of time when startled. 2) Their natural scent is said to be indicative of their emotional state. The stronger the emotion the stronger the scent. Aromas have been described in many ways, some of which are sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, sulphur, flowers, sea water, burning wood, mould, freshly cut grass, and decaying flesh. 3) Though the film covered eyes of an Aquadon makes them appear blind or visually impaired, they do in fact have superior eyesight, as the film over their eyes serves them in multiple ways, such as magnification and light management. Abilities: 1) Transpers. Though Aquadon are not shape shifter, per se, they have an oddly specific function that enables them to break down into many smaller lifeforms for a short period, such as a school of fish or a swarm of insects. The varieties of smaller life form groups is believed to be limited, based on an early-life intimate connection the individual Aquadon had with that species. It is not certain how many transpersal species types an Aquadon is limited to. 2) Shock. The use of electricity to shock a victim. 3) Transension. The ability to pass through solid objects. 4) Allegiance. The ability to call upon other lifeforms and induce in them the need to fight as allies. This ability is said to be effective on all organisms regardless of intelligence levels. (Incomplete)

More to be added.
