The second, was that they had crossed the ocean at a speed that seemed totally impossible. Travel like this put the Quinjet to shame, and he quite frankly had to know how on Earth it worked. He piped up and said, "Hey, at some point, when all this craziness has gone away, and the Earth is safe, can I take a peek at some of your tech? I gotta know what makes all this stuff tick." Oliver gave a melancholic smile at Niah, "Two steps ahead, maybe, but look at where it got us. Maybe if I had been forward with the team about the threat, we wouldn't even be here." He shrugged, before continuing, "I can't know if I helped or hurt the situation, and I can't know if there were better things we could have done. All that matters is where we are now, and how we get out of it." He was a realist, in a lot of ways. The situation, for all it could be, seemed pretty even at the moment, they had a shot, and had some asymmetrical advantage against the Skrulls, but they could be hiding information to give them a false sense of security. Looking down at his phone, he texted.
To Cassandra: "At the speed we're traveling, we'll be there in no time, can't wait to get back to work."
