On a thin, heart-shaped face rest a pair of arched eyebrows, framing the almond-shaped, hazel eyes that can be either brown or olive green depending on her outfit. Her layered, dark brown hair reaches the small of her back, silky locks parted in the middle and usually worn down in soft waves or flat-ironed straight. Ariana’s style consists of everything designer, with a particular fondness for high heels, diamonds and sparkle. Every piece of clothing needs to be perfectly coordinated with one another and accessorized accordingly, fitted to perfection and with enough skin exposed to show off her best attributes without appearing trashy. Crop tops, skinny jeans, shorts, short skirts and form-fitting dresses are the most abundant pieces in her closet. Ariana Mossos is her parents’ daughter through and through. Although Aphrodite’s intentions were to carry on with life as usual, she was surprised to find out she was pregnant. The goddess delayed delivering the news to the father-to-be as much as she could, as Alexandros had just rekindled his relationship with the mother of his twins and were currently expecting their third. Knowing fully well his girlfriend would never adopt a child that was product of his infidelity (even if they had not been together at the time), he made sure to fabricate a believable story. That night, he arrived at his home telling Audrey about how his mother had heard of the daughter of a family friend who was looking to give up her baby on adoption, and if they knew of anybody looking to adopt. The grief-stricken Audrey, of course, jumped at the opportunity to fill the void in her heart and give the innocent child a loving family. Three months later, the young couple was bringing the newborn Ariana to Beverly Hills.

And for fear of being sent off to the psych ward, the girl never confided these issues to anyone, even as they only strengthened throughout the years. 

On her sixteenth birthday, Alexandros finally explained to Ariana who she was and where she came from. The girl had refused to believe him at first, thoroughly convinced that either her father had gone insane, or she had somehow suffered some brain injury that had her living in some strange, alternate dimension. Her denial persisted up until she finally arrived at Olympus Academy and met her biological mother in person, answering Aphrodite’s greeting with a slap in the face so hard Ariana was sure it echoed throughout the grounds. There were no further attempts to speak after that. 

It took some time for Ariana to adjust to her new reality, but she did so quicker than she thought. The brunette was eager to learn about everything, since the only thing she’d ever known up to that point was the mortal life. Finding the answers to what her powers were and how to use them to her favor became her favorite pastime, along with getting into trouble with boys and girls alike. Now, the young woman has fully embraced her status as a demigod, and is enjoying the privilege of having the best of both mortal and godly worlds.[/indent]
