Well, mainly it was Harry talking the whole night even as his dad nodded at his story with the occasional comment. After cleaning the wares and tables, his father leaned his head to the sides. Without much further comment, Harry took a stance even as his own dad took a similar one. Both had their forearm pressing against one another as their focus heightened. Rather than the quick attacks or blow, Harry instead slowly moved his outstretched arm into a fist before aiming for his father's face. The moment he made his move, it was matched similarly by his dad who redirected his punch by sliding off his wrist and into a cross-counter punch. He raised his leg for a kick but an elbow from his father halted a few inches from his face. Harry changed his strategy even as he feinted for a straight punch but moving to a hook punch instead. It was met with a palm strike to his chin, one that had been in motion before he had started his motion. Over and over, their slow sparring continued. Trying to read and predict each other moves before moving to intercept, block or even counter-attack it. This went on and on until late before midnight, whereby they ended it by returning to a standing position and bowed. "Still can't win once." "You're still green and predictable." Lou Fu said as he straightened himself before cracking his neck, looking much more relaxed compared to Harry's sweat-drenched shirt. "Too stiff as well." Harry clicked his tongue in annoyance, seeing that it was also true as well. A harsh pill to swallow but it was a reminder that he was predictable at times. "Take an early sleep tonight, you'll be taking care of the house tomorrow, we'll be eating out tomorrow night." His father finished even as he went to his desk, turning his laptop on and going back to his own work. Harry raised his brows before nodding with a smile. "Got it, dad, night." Taking a quick bath and changing clothes, Harry just went straight to sleep. Hours later after getting the optimal sleep, Harry internal clock had him woke up and got himself ready for the day. Another quick bath, he threw his clothes into the washing machine, started it, and head outside for the morning run. The sun has yet to rise just yet but being in the middle of the capital city, it was never truly dark. Billboards continued flashing advertisements, highrises had a mix of darkened and lit rooms. Trees dotted the roads and at odd places that hadn't had enough development. Some of them even kept around due to their history and as good luck places near to temples, churches, mosques or even shrines. Street lamps, cars continued on their journey be it people that worked the night shift or early birds going for the morning work alongside transportation trucks delivering supplies, as well as trains moving high above the streets in rails. It was not as organized, clean or meticulous as Singapore was but it was nevertheless a sprawling metropolis that continued to grow. Looking back, he used to hear his grandfather or great-grandfather saying that it used to take two hours by plane to reach Singapore. Nowadays, it's an hour or two by train. Some of his teammates prob already returned there instead of staying here. Well, not like it bothers me. Harry only grinned as he continued his morning run. Al the way until the sky begun to brightened did he returned back to the apartment. Just in time for the laundry machine to finish its last cycle and allowing him to start the drying process. Making himself some breakfast, bread, sweet coconut jam and butter. Unhealthy but enough sugar, carbs and fat to last for his body. The clicked of a door had his ear twitched before it returned back to its position before turning to the sides as his dad adjusted his own coat, badge and briefcase. A simple nod to Harry was all that's exchanged. "Have a nice day." Harry said out of habit.
The Amur Tiger
After yesterday work, today would yet be another day as he continued his progress on the corpo. His son progress was expected at least, not a huge burst of growth but decent enough that he can allow him to have some free time for today. Rather than taking the train, he went to the rooftop instead and with a leap, utilize the buildings as jumping stones. It was barely two minutes of travel and it keeps people from second guessing his route. Once he reached office, a quick salute to the others and his superiors had them allow entrance. Already, it was in full swing with reports of villains, possible leads, daily traffic summons, payment and report cases as people lined up to face the counter even as he took the staff entrance. Hopefully, today will allow him to focus on the corp. Or at least, that was what he had thought a few hours ago. Nearing evening, he was called to emergency response. With the scene cordoned off and immediately placed under a huge amount of scrutiny as plenty of journalists outside, making him further annoyed but his mind right now was far more focused on awaited him. Not like he needed much, he can already smell it before he was even close. Lifting the tape, he nodded to a few of the officer that had taken pictures of the scene as he was directed to the scene. 23rd ranked hero, Matterbender. That boiled the blood even as he was briefed the details but the Amur Tiger knew better what had happened exactly. It was murder and worse, a hero hunt. "Get forensics on this, and informed Zeal of this...development."
