This idea can work but I should warn you that if you are playing in the Sol System, you [b]will[/b] be under the thumb of the Confederate Guard and you won't have like any autonomy to do anything unless you want an orbital bombardment. You're basically cut off from everyone else besides NPCs.

Also just as a reminder that the Sol system has been pretty thoroughly developed and colonized. The "newest" colonies are all in the western regions.
