[b]Backstory:[/b] Born and raised on the shores of Lake Ikeda in Kyūshū, Umiko and her family moved to Tokyo in middle school. While she missed living in a small town, she was able to join a swim team at her school. For her 14th birthday, Umiko got her first computer, which led her down rabbit holes fueled by curiosity. Eventually, this led her to the rumors and conspiracy theories surrounding Digimon: Tamers' World, and she began playing the game to see if there was anything to them.
