I love AD&D and got into OSR in 2020. I think 4e was pretty ick but the monster building stuff was [i]chef kiss[/i] for DMs. 5e is a real nice all rounder, but it's my pipe dream for my players to one day accept 5 Torches Deep into their lives to bring some of that AD&D goodness back.
