Formalis - Touchdown | Local Time Unknown | Aboard the Pegasus
"Alright, Victor. You know the drill. Get us in there safely, and make sure you land the ship as close as you can, but on a safe place." " Understand, Vorra. You can leave it to me. " Vorra stood up from her seat and walked to her personal cabin. The last week was difficult for her, to say the least. The Pegasus was rarely packed this full of persons. And to say that their crew was diverse was the understatement of the year. At first, their quirks annoyed Vorra to no end, but after the week's journey, she got used to them. Upon entering her own cabin, she opened her personal locker, containing her Guardian armor and gear. It took her a few minutes to adorn her white gear with streaks of golden fabric interwoven in them, topped by her purple sashes. She left the hood down for now, attached her sidearm to her hip, her main armament onto her back. She attached her utility belts containing ammo clips just as the ship touched down, with an audible thud, and slight recoil as the landing legs overtook the weight of the ship. Vorra reached for her mask and closed the locker, than went back to the cockpit. She looked out of the window and saw they were right next to the wreckages they mapped a week ago."Well done, Victor. I want you to use the sensor suite of the ship to be on the look out. You can patch into our comms any time you find something. Also. Victor, initiate mainframe lockdown. Full bionic verification required to override - fingerprints, retinal scan, voice ID. I don't want anyone to mess around with the Pegasus while I'm gone." There was a brief silence before Victor replied. "Understand, Vorra. Mainframe locked down. Initiating surveillance. " Vorra looked out of the window once again before stepping out from the bridge of the ship and managed to intercept Frost announcing their arrival. Then Vazyrin spoke and changed shape in the weirdest way Vorra ever saw. She instinctively placed her hand on her sidearm, despite doubting it would do much against the walking weapon platform. Vorra gave Frost a who the hell did you find look before stepping down. "Victor stays on the lookout. He'll see more through the Pegasus's sensor suite than all of us combined. We all need to hustle up, it won't be long until the Feds come swarming to Formalis." Vorra than turned to the rest of the crew and placed her right hand on her hip."Vazyrin is right. We should focus on the big one. Use caution in there, even the wrecks can be deathtraps. As for rules of engagement." A pause as she looked at Frost, once again annoyed she could not read her face for what she thinks about. "Security automata are expandable, and salvageable. As for any Federation personal, I'd allow them to surrender. If they refuse to, well, we have no choice." She locked eyes with Frost."But I'm not the boss here. What will it be, Frost" [@Blizz]
