Elias Dietrich was the son of Adolphus Dietrich, the previous ruler of Königboden, and it is highly suspected that Elias gained his position by assassinating his father at the age of 19. Since then he has served as Kaiser for 24 years, bringing his home country from a failing dictatorship on the verge of collapse to one of the major players on the world stage. Intelligence agencies from around the world have tried to learn more about the man to little success. He has no living relatives, no spouse or children, and no known associates. He seems to control just about every aspect possible within Königboden all on his own and the people love him for it.

There's no doubt that Elias is an extremely intelligent man and a ruthless politician. He has managed to piss off many of the world's greatest nations and yet remained untouched despite his country's diminutive size, more akin to a large city-state than a full nation. He is patient, slow to anger, and extremely logical, hardly ever showing any emotion except perhaps utter contempt. At one point, a popular internet meme was created of photoshopped images showing Elias smiling, though the meme died not long after its creation.
