As they stood there, Anise also inspected the mural, staying quiet as she inspected the three beasts and the mural, and with Basil making his observation, she looked to him.

Basil made his request, and Anise nodded to what it could mean. She took hold of the mirror, and lifted it, reflecting the mural as she did… and immediately, two things glowed. The eyes of the beast. Then, suddenly, it was like the reflection from the mirror punched a hole in the wall, as suddenly the rock vanished in a circular hole, showing a cave on the other side. The mural started to gradually vanish, starting immediately in front of the mirror, and then out towards the sides, until the wall had completely disappeared.

Before them, was a small cavern, shut away from the rest of the world. It had been completely dark in there, and yet…

There in the center stood a shrine. From somewhere in the back, there was water running into the cavern. And, beneath and around this cave, there were plants growing. Green, flourishing, happy grass and plants.

[color=C3C1AA]‘OH! OH, MY! OH, MY, STONIX, I’M GOING TO GET SO MANY PUBLICATIONS OUT OF THIS!’[/color] Paulie exclaimed, completely beside himself. [color=C3C1AA]‘HOW ARE THESE PLANTS GREEN!? EVEN WITH RUNNING WATER, THERE’S NO SUNLIGHT! AND THIS ROCKY SOIL SHOULDN’T SUPPORT PLANTLIFE! WHY ARE THEY-!?’[/color] he then proceeded to catapult himself inside the cave and fall down on all fours to put his magnifying glass to the grass in here.

[color=e04f4f]‘It seems… we found it,’[/color] Anise said, sighing out a bit. [color=e04f4f]‘Still, then I don’t understand how the rest of the legend connects. “When the Strong One is reflected in the shrine’s mirror, the beasts will revert to their true form, and nature will be calmed”,’[/color] she repeated the legend. [color=e04f4f]‘That’s not what happened. What happened was that we found a shrine,’[/color] she said, troubled, starting to walk forward into the shrine.

A loud impact was heard from within the shrine. 

[color=e04f4f]‘What was that?’[/color] Anise immediately stopped and frowned at the shrine in alarm.

Waiting an additional amount of time would result in nothing.[/hider]
