[indent]Most people who first meet Tyler would initially describe her as the life of the party. A fun-loving girl with little inhibition, Ty knows how to have a good time, and definitely isn't afraid to do so. She's wild, spontaneous, extroverted... and maybe even a little reckless at times. She'll get along with just about anyone who's kind, and will absolutely love those who can keep up with her. Hang around her long enough and you'll also realize that Ty is much more than just a beautiful ball of chaotic energy. A true science geek, Ty excels in most of her classes at Rosefell, but generally puts more of her focus on Chemistry and Physics. She'll tutor anyone who asks (for a fee) and is adored by the science department. She's also fiercely loyal, and can always be counted on to stick up for her friends.

If you hang around longer, you'll eventually get a preview of Tyler's more... [i]unfavorable[/i] side. Having struggled with controlling her temper for the majority of her life, it's not unusual to find Tyler in the middle of a fight. Whether on the soccer field, in school, or at the bus stop after school, Tyler is [i]always[/i] prepared to throw hands, and will do so without hesitation. [indent]Tyler Latrice Andrews was born in Washington, D.C. as the first and only child of Will Jones and Carissa Andrews. Due to her parents splitting just a month before she was born, Tyler was raised primarily by her mother and aunt Tasha. The three lived in a townhouse in a fairly rough area of D.C., supported mostly by Carissa's hair salon business. While Tyler did stay in contact with her father over the years, he was never really included in any important decisions that had to be made regarding different aspects of her upbringing. He left all of that to his former girlfriend of four years and her younger sister. 

Despite being a little less fortunate than others, Tyler had a decent childhood. She made fantastic grades (especially in her science classes), had a solid group of friends, and even joined a soccer team for a couple of months before having to quit due to financial issues. The only real downside to Tyler's upbringing was that she was a [i]fighter[/i]; from her very first physical altercation in the second grade, Tyler had been letting her fists do the talking for the majority of her childhood and adolescence. She figured it was inevitable due to the area she'd been living in, where fighting was what she had to do to survive. It was a wonder she hadn't fallen susceptible to all of the other unfavorable things that went down in their city such as gang violence and drugs. 

Ty was fifteen years old when she got into the fight that would change her life for good. It was during a house party that she'd snuck out of her house to attend; she'd been having an amazing time until an old fling decided it'd be a good idea to try and force himself on her. And when his current girlfriend happened to walk into the bedroom right when Tyler was about to start swinging, all hell broke loose. Although she'd walked away from it victorious, the altercation resulted in her ex's girlfriend being rushed to the hospital to be treated for several severe injuries. Long story short, Ty wound up having to do a few hours of community service to make up for what she'd done, and as soon as she'd finished, her mother shipped her off to live with her father for the remainder of her schooling, hoping that he'd be able to "set her straight." 

And he did.... somewhat. He'd convinced his daughter to take up kickboxing (which she grew to love), as well as join the Rosefell soccer team. The number of fights Tyler got into after moving to Columbus significantly decreased, however they did not stop altogether. It only took about two weeks into Ty's Sophomore year for the Rosefell kids to catch a glimpse of what the girl could do. And it was from that point onward that most people decided it'd be smart to stay out of her way completely.
