[indent]Socially, Grant is a bit of a chameleon. He can get along with most people on a surface level, and he is very laid back. However that also translates to him being a bit, ah, laisez-faire when it comes to relationships with the opposite sex, which is the only however small dent on his reputation. Generally he's seen as a popular person who is good at his studies without it distracting much from his social life. He's also in the soccer team, but he's not amazinng, not really gonna go pro, he's just tall, fast and works hard.

[indent]Grant was born in LA to parents Jacob and Katherine. His parents are pretty well off, his mother being a dentist and his father working as an engineer in city planning. However, Grant made it to Marble Heights on merit, via a scholarship. Before getting in, he was an extremely hard worker, being drilled by his parents to take responsibility for his future and get as far in life as he can take himself. He saw getting the Marble Heights as a reward for his work and now has found a much better balance, which is a blessing for his mental health. Grant's relationship with his parents is great, they're supportive without getting too involved- they're busy and they trust him. [/indent][/indent]

[indent]Grant just really has a need to be liked and respected. It's not that he is an egomaniac or whatever, but he just feels like it's non-negotiable. That means that, depending on someone's social pecking order, he might try too hard or too little to get on their good side, in terms of how worth it he feels it is. He also is a really, really big fan of beautiful women. To a degree that it's a problem. Probably caused due to being sheltered pre-Marble Heights, but who's to say? He considers himself to be dependable, but mostly he's bossy and just likes to be in charge of things. That being said on the rare occasion when he feels someone is better fit or has a better idea, he's easy to work with and not an asshole or insecure about it.
