Vin sat and watched the young man with interest. He couldn't quite imagine what trouble he could have been in but that wasn't here or there. 

As Ezner asked about Elisabeth, the academic nodded. [b]"We got a letter from her a few trials back. She was intending on sailing from Scalvoris back to Rharne, arriving on Ashan 38 supposedly. Said she had something to talk to us about so I'm not sure what that's all about but I guess we will find out."[/b]

Noting Ezner's discomfort, he felt compelled to offer the younger man something. [b]"Ezner, you made an impact on her. She wouldn't speak of it much but I do know that she considers you a friend. You don't hurt that much for people who you don't care about. I know that she will be beyond excited to know that you are alright."[/b]
