Eliezer said nothing else to the king when he decided to go against his suggestion and interact with child Raven and her father, knowing that it would be pointless since he was also ignoring what Allister had to say. Eliezer was the one whom Roberto hated, after all, or was that actually true? For a king who had brought his son up to have such an extensive control over his emotions, he currently seemed to demonstrate very little self restraint. Perhaps he was only directing his anger at Eliezer because he was so consumed by guilt. Despite Allister's explanation to him and the knight, Eliezer was still apprehensive about interacting with anyone in this timeline regardless of the subject. It did not matter, however, for Aster and Raven were already aware of their presence and were speaking to them. Eliezer only thanked Aster for his hospitality, and then turned to Hildebrand. "This is clearly before the raid on Wynton Forest, which my family was responsible for. I am curious to know what they, or rather, we are doing at this moment. I wonder if there is any way I could catch a glimpse of my family." "I would assume that the king and queen would be plotting the attack as we speak, Your Highness," Hildebrand replied. "Shall we have a look around the Dainia of this time, Sir Hildebrand?" Asked Eliezer. "Perhaps something we witness might provide us with some aid on how to put an end to what is taking place in our timeline." "I'll accompany you wherever you choose to go, Your Highness," the knight responded. The two stepped away, agreeing that they would merely observe whatever they would come across and do their best not to interact with anyone or anything else.
Meanwhile, there was alarm at the Nemes Estate when the dead body of an assassin was spotted on the property, along with other evidence of intrusion. The members of the Nemes family were gathered by several guards to ensure that they were all safe, while the rest strode about in urgency to locate the crown prince and his personal knight, who were nowhere to be found. The guards of the Nemes Estate attempted to suppress their collective panic at Eliezer's disappearance, to no avail. Adelina was especially worried for the prince, being the only one in her family to be aware of what he was secretly involved in. The royal family were quickly alerted of this discovery, and ordered for the Nemes family to be escorted to the palace for better protection. While the rest of her family were settling down at the palace, Adelina came across the younger prince furiously reprimanding the Nemes Estate guards for their negligence and telling them that they were to find Prince Eliezer or face severe punishment. She listened from the side, and then approached Mathazar as the guards cleared the area. He sighed in relief when he saw her, pulling her into an embrace. "My dear Adelina! It is a relief that you and you family are safe. However, I shall only truly be at peace when I know what has become of Eliezer. I can only hope for the best." Mathazar seemed to be in visible distress as he took a seat with a heavy sigh, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Those who fear his disappearance merely because they value him as the benevolent heir to the throne do not know the fear I currently experience as a brother. If anything happens to him, I shall personally do my best to ensure the one responsible will pay for it." Adelina was unsure of what to believe. Did Eliezer not accuse his brother of attempting to assassinate him? Her time with the princes would lead her to find the idea absurd, but what motive would Eliezer have to turn her against his brother with a false accusation? Regardless of what the truth may be, she decided to play along for the time being. She sat down beside him, echoing his mood. "I am so sorry. I do not claim to know your pain, but Eliezer is also much more to me than to most in Dainia. I regret not having done more to ensure his safety, if there had been any more I could have done." Mathazar looked up at her, gently running his fingers through her hair. "You are not to blame, my lady. However, if there is anything Eliezer has said or done during his stay at your home that might provide us with a clue as to what happened to him, we would appreciate it immensely if you would share it with us." She wanted to trust him, but was hesitant to tell him anything after all that had taken place. "I... shall do so if I recall anything." "Thank you, my lady. You should be with your family, I am certain that today's events have been rather stressful on all of you as well," he finished off, before standing up and leaving. He made his way to a private corner where Robynne was waiting, and teased her with a smirk. "I could sense your jealousy from where I was, my lady." The maid chuckled. "I trust that you pretend with the noblewoman, but are genuine with me, Your Highness. We are unsure of what has truly happened to Prince Eliezer, but we are certain that it is going to be difficult for him to explain this one if he does return."
